Favorite Food: Steak from Mortons & Fried chicken Favorite Walk: The walkway in South Beach, Miami Best Tricks: Speaking on command and obeying various sign language gestures.(taught to us and him by our deaf friend Karen) Arrival Story: He was chained up and neglected with no food or water on Valence street in New Orleans and we saved him with the help of the Southern Animal Foundation and the LASPCA. Bio: He was 25lbs underweight when we got him. he was never trained in any way, shape or form. He survived a serious case of heartworms and a sure death where we was on the LASPCA death row for a week before we adopted him officially. We renamed him, Themba, which means "hope" in Xhosa.It is pronounced with a silent "h" as in Temba. He is a recent Katrina evacuee and survivor.
