Arrival Story:
Saw his furry face on Second Chance Rescue website and adopted him. The day before we were to pick him up, his foster family decided he was a keeper and asked us to accept another from the litter. But seeing that we were already Bix-smitten, the kind folks at Second Chance convinced his foster family to let us have him after all...we will be forever grateful. He's the greatest dog and is adored (ok, spoiled rotten).

Bio:
0-95 lbs in less than a year. Now a pro-wrestler at the dog park. People have called him everything from a Rottweiler/Lab mix to a Ridgeback/Pit/Shepherd mix... we just call him the Bix Mix. At 6 months old, Bix hurt his front left elbow and his limp continued for months... he recently underwent surgery to repair a fractured coronoid process (visit www.samsclinic.com for more info). But you can't keep a good dawg down; Bix is back up and about and getting stronger every day.
