Mommy just bought me the cutest itsy bitsy, teeny weeny, yellow polka dot bikini and I can't wait for summer! I love summer. I love to sunbathe and now I don't have to do it in the nude.
Now mommy is looking for a pair of swimming trunks for my dog brother Carter. Silly mommy, she knows that he hates to wear clothes.

Saturday mommy & daddy took Carter & me to the Chihuahua meetup. It was really hot so I decided to swim - on my own! The look on mommy's face was priceless! It was my first time to swim & I did really well, even though I got my tennis outfit wet. Carter swam too but only because daddy put him in the pond. Mommy said that I can do as much swimming as I want when grandma's pool is finished - but only if I'm supervised.

Saturday our Chihuahua Meet Up group walked in the Mardi Gras parade. It was raining and cold but mommy was nice enough to let me wear my tennis shoes so my feet wouldn't get wet. The newspaper people took my picture because they had never seen a dog with shoes.My dog brother Carter got to go too but mommy carried him because he couldn't walk with a leash. A big collie charged at me and made me fall in the gutter water by the curb... mommy & daddy say that I'm half chicken, half chihuahua because I'm scared of everything.
Our dog friends Gino and Chanel came over for a play date on Sunday and boy did we have fun!
