Arrival Story:
Friends of my parents' had just had a baby & didn't want a dog around, so they gave him to us. The owner before them had been really abusive, leaving Rusty scared of some things, like recliners & newspapers, & he hated the sound of slapping.
Bio:
He was ran over & killed on March 19th, 2004. He was already in poor health, though. He was nearly blind & deaf & had a tumor on his trachea & outlived the sentence the vets were giving him. He was really playful & energetic to be so old & sick.
