I had been to Obedience Trials in the past but I didn't like it. I know how to do all that Obedience stuff but Strangers were always wanting to come up and touch me. How Rude!! I finally figured out if I embarrassed my Moms enough they would stop making me go. The last time I went to an Obedience Trial I licked myself (in that place where only dogs can lick) for the entire time I was supposed to be sitting. Never again did I have to go and show off for a Stranger with a clipboard.
I knew something was up because we had started practicing Obedience like we used to do a long time ago. Then I had to go to the Vet's and get shots ( well okay I had to have that done anyway but I am still going to blame it on the Obedience thing) Then I went and had a Bath I really knew then that something was up.
My Mom came home from work on Saturday night and started putting papers and collars and treats and her camera in her bag. I knew for sure I was going somewhere when she put my leash in the bag. I saw her pick it up and I ran over and jumped around cuz I know anytime Treats and my leash are involved we must be going somewhere fun!! And then she went to bed?!? Huh?!? What's the deal with that. I decided I needed to sleep in the bed with her in case she decided to sneak out in the middle of the night.
We got up when it was still dark time and then when my Mom was ready, me and my Big, Black, Hairy, Belgian brother Laser headed out the door. My other Mom came and picked us up and we got into the car and headed out. I am the most special dog because there wasn't enough room for me to be in a crate so I got to ride in the back seat with my Mom.
We got to this place with lots of other dogs, and rings set up for them to walk in. I recognized this place right away. My Mom put me in a crate so she could get situated and go and watch my other Mom make Apache do obedience. I barked and snarled at dogs that walked by my crate so my Mom moved me and covered me with a sheet. Besides not liking it when Strangers touch me I really don't like when other dogs look at me when I am in a crate. I feel so helpless.
My Mom took me out for a walk in the smelly grass and then we went back inside. I had to wait in my crate for a little while and then my Mom came and got me. Boy was I happy to see her. She walked me to the Obedience Rings and I followed her in. But this was different kind of Obedience?!??! We got to walk where we wanted as long as we stayed to the right of the orange cones, I saw a Clipboard Person in the ring with us but she never came near us. We did all kinds of Obedience walking just like we practice in class and at home and my Mom was talking to me and telling me how good I was doing. I was telling my Mom how good she was doing too by wagging my tail. Finally we got to run out of the Ring where I had many admirers clappinng for me (of course I deserved it) I got some yummy yummy treats. Then we had to go back into the Ring but my brother Laser got to come with us this time. All we had to do was sit there but my Mom was really happy and the Clipboard Lady gave her 2 Green Ribbons and a Red one and a Yellow one. Mine was Red because I am always better then the Hairy Wolfboy. I kinda like this Rally Thing....I might even do it again.

I hate getting a bath. It is so dumb that my mom thinks I need to have a bath. I don't think I am dirty...I don't think I smell...I don't know why my mom is all the time thinking that I need a bath.
At least my mom takes me to this place where she can bathe me herself instead of sending me off to the groomers. That way I can retaliate by shaking every time I get soaped up.
But the part I really hate is when people walk by me and talk to me...I don't like strangers in the first place, but when they walk by me and talk to me when I am being humiliated by getting a bath is just about the worse thing in the world.
And just when I think it is almost over my mom then starts hitting me with the air thingy. I hate the air thingy...it is loud, noisy, and scary.
The only thing good about getting a bath is that my mom likes to snuggle with me alot when we are through...I like that part

My moms are obsessed with Bluebonnets. All the time they are taking me and my brothers or sisters to sit in the middle of these dumb flowers while they run around us saying "Stay-Stay" What the heck!?! I don't know about this game, I did get treats but still it wasn't much fun.
And did I mention the ride to get to the stoopid flowers?? I ~ Deuce!! Had to ride in a crate in the car. Did Sierra my annoying sister have to ride in the crate?? Noooo She got to ride loose in the car and sit by moms. Did "Loco" Laser my crazy brother have to ride in a crate? Noooo He was loose in the back of the car (okay well his leash was tied but still he wasn't in a crate) I know we just had to go a short way and it is safer for me to be in the crate but still what was the deal with that?
I really think I deserved a trip to Petco for a bone or some kind of payment for my modeling job. I am so unappreciated.

Today my moms (both of them) took me to go herding sheeps. We got up really early in the morning, and I was soooo excited that we were going somewhere. One of my moms has a new car and that is how we were going to go to the sheeps. But my moms says all dogs have to ride in crates in the new car. Lucky me my moms only had my brothers crate at home. He is a Belgian Big Dog so I was riding in a doggy palace. We drove forever!!! I wanted to get out when moms stopped at the human bathroom but moms said it is just a little ways more. Finally we made ot to the sheeps. Lots of doggies there barking barking. I didn't bark back I wanted to go see the sheeps!! Moms got out of the car walked around got back in the car and we left. What the heck?!?
Nobody was home at the sheeps place!!! It had rained and sheeps class was cancelled. Who Knew??? Ok Ok wasn't a trip for nothing. We went to the Petsmart store and I got to go shopping. I didn't want any toys I wanted to play with the sheeps : ( Moms said we will go back another day we will go and see the sheeps. Until then I will just have to dream of Sheeps.

When I was a little dog, I always had to sleep in a crate. My mom said it was because I kept getting into the things, but hey I was just curious about my surroundings.
One day I was in the house with my mom and she was laying on the couch watching tv. After a while I noticed that my mom wasn't looking at the tv any more and was making some weird noises. I went over to see what she was doing and stuck my cold wet nose into her face, (that is the best way to tell if someone is sleeping or not) My mom kinda sorta woke up, and told me to go away. Well the door to the outside was closed so I really couldn't go anywhere. I sat there for a moment, looked around and then decided I should write a letter to somebody. I don't know how to write, but that didn't matter, I had a marker pen...some paper... I took the cap off the pen, chewed the other end up, and then smeared ink all over the paper, and carpet, and my paws and my mouth. Then decided to rip up the paper. I learned how to make confetti that day.
My mom woke up and was very angry. Not at me, though she said it was her fault for not putting me into my crate.
By the way... I don't have to sleep in a crate anymore now that I am older. I don't make the messes like I used to. I do check in with my mom before going to bed everynight, I jump onto her chest we touch noses and then I get down and go and sleep in the closet. It is the place I like to sleep best.

I like to take things from inside the house to outside... I don't know why I do it I just always feel the need to grab something as I run out the door. Sometimes it is a toy, but usually I try and be more creative then that.
One of the best things I take outside are peoples shoes. I really don't care who's shoes they are as long as they are on the floor they are fair game. One of the reasons I like to take shoes, is it keeps my mommy home longer with me, because she has to look all over for the shoe that is missing, and I always help her to look, I even give her hints... your getting hotter, no now you are cold etc. but she doesn't seem to pay any attention to me. One time we had some friends over and their kids took off their shoes in the living room. That was the best because the kids were looking all over for their missing shoe, and they couldn't leave without their shoes. Finally my mom got wise to me and thought to look outside for the missing childrens shoes, and yeah she did find them but the best part is that since the time I took them outside it had started raining and the shoes got all wet.
When we lived at our old house, I used to grab things and run out the back door with them. Lots of times it was the kitchen rug that was on the floor by the back door. Why else would my mom put a rug there if she didn't want me to put it outside? Another time I took my mom's purse outside, but the funniest thing I ever took outside was my mom's underwear. I had to run through the laundry room to get outside and there they were just waiting for me in a big pile of clothes on the floor, really to good to be true! I remember it like it was yesterday, it was early morning and my sisterdog Kodi was outside with me. I came running out with my prize and then Kodi came over to see what I had, then we started playing tug of war. Oh what fun we had. We were having so much fun that even the worker guys next door were laughing with us and I think that they wanted to play too but they couldn't because they were on the other side of the fence. Then my mom came outside and took our fun toy away from us. Those men were still laughing but for some reason my mom wasn't. She usually doesn't get mad at me, but I think that day maybe she was mad because Kodi stretched her undies all out of shape.
