Arrival Story:
We had always wanted a Labrador Retriever but we wanted a puppy AND we wanted a rescue dog. We waited and waited (almost a year) till we had gotten a call from Shelter Pet Partners. They had received a pregnant Labrador Retriever (A stray from the Cedar Fire in San Diego in October 2003). The mother looked to be 100% Lab but Dad was anybodys guess. When we saw the puppies they looked very Lab like and we fell in love with one particular little pup (Daisy). We were told that she would probably grow to a weight of around 65-70 pounds. She now weighs 95 pounds and I wouldnt want her an ounce less. (We still have no idea what she is mixed with)
