Arrival Story: I knew that I wanted a small dog that wouldn't shed. I did a lot of internet research and discovered the Bolognese. There aren't many Bolognese breeders in the U.S., but we managed to find one in New Hampshire. Bolognese are very dedicated to their family members...and besides that, they are absolutely adorable!!!!

I've Been On Dogster Since:
My cousin Rudolph (Rudy) came over today. I like him, but I don't really show it. I'm kind of a girly girl pup...or as mom and dad call me, a Princess! And Rudy is full of energy and bouncy like a kangaroo. I prefer to sit back and watch him. I let him play with my toys and rest in my crate. I'm getting better with him, though. Rudy was rescued by my human sister Chrystie and her boyfriend, Chuck just before Christmas. He was found on the street and was only four pounds. He is getting some meat on his little bones now. He really is a lovable little guy and we are all glad that he found a warm, loving home. Some day I will stop being a little chicken and will play with him...maybe! Until then...
Wow...it has been a long time since I wrote a diary entry. Well, it has been a *ruff* year. In January, my most favorite uncle, well, actually great- uncle in the whole wide world died unexpectedly. I kept wanting to go and see him, but mommy and daddy said that he wasn't here anymore and that he was in heaven with God. But I still wanted to see him. I went to his house and looked in all of the rooms and still no Uncle John. So I curled up on a chair outside of his bedroom and snuggled up with his sweater. Mommy cried and daddy wanted to cry, too. I still miss him. Then, daddy's father died. And then we moved to a new house. I love it here. It took some time to get used to, but I really like it now. Okay, time to go. I hear daddy putting something in the microwave. Maybe something for me...?
Well, Mom and Dad went shopping today and came home with a little something for me. I was sure hoping that it would be something to eat, but it wasn't. It was something to wear! I guess they are getting ready for Christmas and pictures again and they bought me a Mrs. Claus dress complete with the little hat. I don't mind the dress so much, but I can't move when they put the hat on me. For some reason, I just freeze. Then, my buddy Chrystie came over and Mom put the dress on me so Chrystie could see how cute I looked. Well, she took the hat off of me and then when no one was looking, I sneaked under the bed to hide from everyone. I could be a little stinker when I want to be...hehehe. Okay, time to go back to my nap.
