Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:
-purebred

Birthday:
May 9th 1999

Likes:
Consuming tasty (and not so tasty) vittles, making ladies swoon, having my nose covered with a blanket before settling for a nap, and telling everyone else what to do.

Pet-Peeves:
Being in the rain without a slicker, having my nails trimmed, attempted mountings at the dog park, and dogs that bark too much.

Favorite Toy:
I like to groom plush toys and also like tennis balls that I can hide in my mouth.

Favorite Food:
Muffins

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere with Mom where I can be adored by my minions.

Best Tricks:
I excel at napping these days.

Arrival Story:
I was the runt of my litter and was almost culled because of my size and gloomy disposition. I was a sullen puppy with occasional fits of zoomies (I used to hurdle over the loveseat in the living room, but that was before I ate it and my parents had to throw it away) and didn't learn how to calm down and be a good dog until I was two.

Bio:
My life has changed significantly since my hepatitis diagnosis. I am now retired from work and spend my time passing on lessons to my younger siblings, napping in the sun, and playing bite-my-face with Mom. Life is much less stressful with fewer responsibilities and as much as I have liked working, I do enjoy the benefits of retirement.

I didn't get the chance to celebrate what would have been my eighth birthday with my family earlier in the month, but I still got a fantastic present. I am now a proud Guardian Angel at Best Friends.

Dane-sized Nosebleed

I recently had one of the most uncomfortable experiences of my life - a 21 hour nosebleed. I cannot explain how awful it is to make a horrible mess, not be able to breathe easily, and be unable to sleep as a result.

I'm on bed rest and have a new medication (more cheese) for hypertension and have been just dribbling here and there for a few days now. Mostly I am tired and glad to have a clean bed and a clear nose.

My doctor unfortunately doesn't quite know what the problem is, but at least the bleeding stopped. It was an undignified way to spend the day.

A new camera

The day has finally arrived. Mom has ordered a new camera and says it should be here in a couple of days. We at Dane Manor are excited because we like nothing better than being immortalized (well, aside from naps in the sun, massage, warm muffins . . . ). I've still got lots of timeless poses up my sleeve, er, paw. Or leg? How does that go, exactly?
