Arrival Story:
After a difficult breakup..I decided what I needed was another dog. Most of my cats were gone..so i thought "hey, I can handle a third dog"... yes, I know... I was momentarily but joyously insane. Tav was a rescue, (he has a kinked tail and a gimpy left rear leg and had a tumor on his head as a pup, ) so no one wanted him. After 6 years of being a duo..Otello and Lakme did some serious drooling and bubble blowing before they got used to Taavi..in about 3 hours ;-) They love him now, and he makes Uncle Otello behave just a bit younger than a "Grump Butt" now. He walks on all 4 legs, but prefers to run (very very rapidly) on three and keeping his left rear leg up (I think he thinks it's just a kickstand!
Bio:
Taavi is short for Kultaavi..which is Finnish for"Golden Beloved One". That is truly what this little guy is. He is joy caninified..or is that doggified..hmm?? Oh well..whatever!
