Arrival Story:
When Scooter was 4 1/2 years old, I was contacted by her former owner asking if we would take her and show her. I had always wanted to show dogs, and Scooter seemed like a great way to begin. I was right- I've been hooked ever since, and Scooter was my little angel- I just adored her!!!

Bio:
In early 2005, we discovered that Scooter had a back injury- a compressed vertibrae. While we were treating it, we also discovered that she suffered from hip dysplasia. So, she retired from showing, but she was quite content sitting on the sofa with me and being snuggled. I got her a little Cardigan brother, Roman, and she was looking forward to tagging along with him to some shows. On February 16, 2007, after being in my life for just 3 years, I had to help Scooter to cross the Rainbow Bridge. The pain from the hip dysplasia became just too great, and there was nothing left for me to do to help her. She's no longer in pain, and she's happily running again and playing. I miss you my sweet friend.
