Well this morning as my mommy woke and turned over she looked at me and wished me Happy Birthday! THATS RIGHT it's MY birthday, oh happy day! In my beautiful little head I'm visualizing my birthday, presents, treats all day long, mom throwing my most favorite ball all day and just me getting whatever I want in general. Yes, this is going to be the bestest day ever.
It started as I had visualized, mommy made me and sis a wonderful breakfast, I was receivng all kinds of kisses, mommy was playing with me, I opened my present, (love those) and then it happened! On this most special of days my mommy decides that I need to, I dread even saying it, HAVE A BATH, WHAT? No mommy, please, it's my special day and I don't want a bath. I protested out loud as much as I could, I even tried hiding but did it work NOOOOOOOOO mommy got me! She started off by trimming my feet, ug, yet another unhappy non-birthday event all the while telling me it's my special day, hello...MY special day...a bath and paw trimming was most definately not what I had in mind. Anyway, she finally finished that then she grabs the cotton balls, a small portion of it goes into each of my ears as we Paps sometimes have ear problems, this was it, it was certainly going to happen, yep, the dreaded bath.
We start to walk into the kitchen and I see the sink, it's getting bigger and bigger with every step mommy takes. Then the next thing I know I'm in the darn sink, the water goes on, OH JUST GET IT OVER ALREADY, mommy grabs the shampoo and the process begins. At this point all I can do is stand there and look at mommy and boy was I giving her unhappy looks, but she just stood there smiling and telling me how pretty I am, not that I can hear her I HAVE COTTON BALLS IN MY EARS, and I already know that I'm beautiful and in my point of view I liked the way I looked before the bath. Mommy finally finishes and grabs the towell then it's thrown over my entire body, hello mommy, want to see. Mommy sits down with me and starts to dry me she was almost finished and it happened, I GOT AWAY!!! hee, hee, try and catch me now mom, I decided it was time to get a case of the zoomies and so I ran and ran and ran through the entire house (which by the way mommy had just vaccumed) I even got up on the bed and began to roll of course with all my hair being left everywhere I went! I ran from room to room and made sure to stop and roll every chance I got. My hair was flying off of my body as I ran, there is now hair everywhere! Bath on my birthday...take that mommy.
After I got my bath it was time for Trinquette's bath and I just stood there and watched, but she likes her bath, sometimes she is so strange!
Anyway, the rest of the day is going wonderfully, and so much attention is being given to me!!!
One of the best presents for me was me getting to watch my mommy vaccum the entire house, again and even the bed, life is good! I love my mommy!
Take care everyone!
Love and tail wags, Sassy-birthday girl!

Hello everyone!
Well, my mommy was on something called a vacation and she was so very excited about it. She kept telling me and my sister that she would be spending 3 whole weeks with us. Well first of all let me tell you the perks of my mommy being on vacation. Yes, I've most certainly decided that I LOVE mommy being home so much cause we got to actually sleep in. We didn't get up before 9 a.m., at all, it was so wonderful cause as you know us Divas need their beauty sleep and I am actually so much cuter now that I've had excessive sleep. But there was a down side to mommy being on vacation, the same time as Grandma as mommy and Grandma were gone quite a bit leaving the three of us on our own, which is actually not a bad thing as I can dig in my Grandma's yard and tear things to shreds while they are gone. This is oh so much fun. They come home excited to see us until they look around the house and see all of the plant thingies in the house. I don't know why this upsets them so. So what if Grandma has new carpet it just needs a little more decoractions on the floor.
We also spent alot of time with my Grandma and Gizmo, we spent the night there quite a bit. I just love this as I get to take Gizmo's mostest favorite toys and tease him with them, this is sooooooooo much fun! Then of course there is chase the cats, wow do I love that game, although my Grandma and mommy seem to have a problem with it but I just can't help myself. There is just something inside of me I see the two cats and I'm off and running out the door to chase them out of the yard. The only cat that actually takes me on, is Rafiki he is a 15 year od Siamese and he seems to enjoy "playing" with me. Now his version of playing is grabbing me, getting me in a body lock and just having his way with me. This hurts, as you know cats have things called claws and that's not pleasant to take especially when they are digging into your tummy. But I've managed to learn how to annoy Rafiki and not get caught in his grasp anymore so now I'm having a blast!
Mommy had to go back to work today, the alarm thingie went off at 5 a.m., and mommy calls us out for breakfast, my sister Trinquette and I just looked at each other and thought "she is surely not serious"! Mom called us three times before we ambled out of bed, who wants to eat in the dark not to mention THAT early! Seriously mom retire!!!!! Mom would agree to do that but apparently she needs the money to keep buying our toys, we have alot of them you know! Are we spoiled?
Oh ya, while mommy was on vacation she finished our yard and she is so very proudof it. Just let me tell you that as soon as mommy is out the door for any reason me and sis are out in the garden earing her "precious" plants. She comes home and finds all kinds of petals on the ground and thinks it's worms, he he he don't tell her any different. We are sticking to that story!
Well that's it for now, I'll keep you posted on what's going on in my life.
Take care.
Love and tail wags, Sassy.

Yes, I know I have lagged in updating everyone on what's been going on in my life, but mommy has been very busy and she won't let me use the computer unless she supervises, how ridiculous! Anyway, mom has planted a small little garden and she is so very content with it I just haven't had the heart to tell her that my sis Trinquette and I just love eating the little flowers she has in there. She finally caught us the other day we just sat down and gave her the "puppy dog eyes" and she melted and so we didn't get in trouble.
Don't tell mom but when she's not home we still get in there and sneak a few bites :)!
My sister and I are finally learning to play together. I mean we played but not like we do now, we are chasing each other all over the house and this just pleases mommy so much, she just laughs and laughs!
Mommy tells us that she is going to be on something called a vacation starting 7/2/07, and will be home with us for 3 whole weeks. Yes, we get to sleep in. I used to love getting up at the crack of dawn and waking mommy, but as I've matured I've decided that Divas really do need their beauty sleep!
Guess what, the other day I heard this peep peep coming out of my brother's room so naturally my sis and I wouldn't budge from the door. Finally my mom heard it and the noise turned out to be the cutest little chicken. My sister immediately wanted to eat it but I was kinda perplexed, there was this little brown thingie with feathers and it kept pecking at me. Well I wasn't going to have anymore of that so I just stayed away from it. Imagine, a Diva with an unwanted mark on her face, I don't think so! But it was here only for a day as mommy made my brother get ride of it. Apparently boy chickens grow up and do somthing called crowing, I don't know what that is but it sounds awful, and according to mommy it is! Then tonight I heard something else coming from my brother's room and sure enough there was a bunny in his room. God bless him, he keeps trying! Anyway, after hearing from my pup pals how fun bunnies are to chase I immediately wanted part of that action, but NOOOOOOOOOOO mommy wasn't having any of that. Well anyway, the bunny is gone too. Darn I could of enjoyed that one!
Mommy was so proud of me and my sis as we finally had started to learn not to bark so much when anyone walked by or breathed near our house for that matter. But we have had a set back and again I have to ask what is a bark collar?
Oh yes, I have a fettish, ya see I love, and I MEAN LOVE to lick mommy's toes. I lick them whenever possible during the day but when we get into bed I start moving the blanket around until mommy puts her feet out from the covers and then I lick then until I get too tired and then I'm done and mommy and I can get our sleep. It's so much fun, but I do get thirsty. I love that mommy lets me have my little quirks!
Well that's it for now, I'll write soon.
Love and tail wags, Sassy!

I was tagged by my brother Gizmo!!!!
Here's how it works!
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their Diary the rules & their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your Diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!
1. I love toys.
2. I'm a great irritant factor, ask my bro.
3. I love eating mommy's plants.
4. I'm spoiled rotten.
5. I love playing with Gizmo's toys and not letting him have them back.

Well, it's now spring, I guess, here in "Sunny" California... if it would just stop raining and be sunny! But my mommy has started to buy new plants and is preparing to fix up our little yard. She is buying roses, wow those thorns hurt, and other flowers that taste pretty good. Ya see, when mommy isn't home or looking me and my sis sneak out and chew on her flowers. When she comes home and finds the leaves or buds on the ground she wonders what is making then fall off and thinks her plants are sick. ( he he he he he) Don't tell her it's me and sis!
Life has been so great for me now a days, I have settled into a little routine and we still get to spend the night with my grandma and her pap Gizmo on Friday nights. I so love this as Gizmo and I really play, well, I take his mostest favorite toy and tease him with it and we just go round and round. Then I get to play my second bestest game...chase the cats, oh how I love this game. Two of grandma's cats just run from me, that's the fun part, but Rafiki, well he is another matter. He used to be my mommy's cat until we moved into our condo and he stayed with grandma, anyway I digress, when fiki comes into the room I immediately run after him but he doesn't move and then he plays back and boy does he play hard. He is a 16lb siamese (is that spelled correctly?) and when he gets you trapped in between all his legs, well let's just say it's hard to get out of his grasp. But then I'm free and we start the game all over but I don't push him too much as he is odler and his patience level has most certainly lowered!
Oh I have to tell you about me and sis's new diet. Ever since this dog food problem mom has been making us chicken mixed with shredded carrots, french cut green beans and cottage cheese and we JUST LOVE IT! Then mom gives us our Vibe which is a vitamin. All I have to do is hear "come on girls you need your Vibe and I'm a running behind the couch. Anyway, back to the yummy food, I used to be a finicky eater but now with my new special food I'm all over it. Keep it coming mom!
Also, my sister Trinquette and me have been getting into some fights and this is quite concerning to mommy. At first she would freak out we were going at it pretty good but then mommy started to watch the Dog Wisperer and has now taken the upper hand. Who is this guy and what has he done to my mommy? All sis and I have to do is look at each other wrong or make a growl and mommy has us on our sides until we become calm and submissive. (I'd like to take on this Cease guy and tell him like it is). Then mommy makes us make up. So Sis and I have calmed down but I still watch my step as my sister, a chihuahua, and has serious jealousy problems when it comes to mommy. But if she starts something I'm not the kinda gal who backs down easily. It's really not as serious as I make it out to be but mommy is quite proud of herself! Really mom your gloating!
Mommy thought she would try something new and brought my favorite ball into the yard and started throwing it to me. Well, I usually play in the house and I'm not sure I like taking my toy outside to play. For one thing it gets dirty and Divas don't do dirty.
Well that my life right now and I have to run and chew a leaf I see on the ground, which means bring it inside behind the couch and chew it to shreds!
I'll check in later!

The other day my mom, sister Trinquette and I spent the night at my grandma's and Gizmo's house as we usually do on Friday nights and I had a severe case of the Zooooomies! Don't know why, but I felt exceptionally happy and well, just felt like running, besides it drives all my grandma's cats crazy, need I say more. Once I stopped with my zoomies I decided that I would play with Gizmo (although he would say I annoy him) I grab whatever toy he has and I tease him with it. I follow him around pushing his toy in his face and if that does not work I then take my paw and bat at him AND if that does not work I start to squeek at him (I am very vocal). Finally he chases me which is what I wanted anyway and we just go around and around. Once in awhile he has the nerve to take the toy away from me, which upsets me and my bottom lip quivers. Well, as I'm sure you can imagine this just tickles my mom and grandma and they just sit there laughing at me, the nerve! Once Gizmo has his toy he just sits there doing nothing with the toy I want but stare at me, I just know he is gloating!!! My next strategic move is to start barking and run outside as if something is out there. Well this move works extremely well and he and my sis runs outside to see what I am barking at and as soon as they are out of the house I run back in and grab the toy and then we start all over again. You have to admit I am a genius! When I tire of this game I play chase the kitties, they come to the door to come into the house and I wait till one of them is just inside the door and BAM I'm off! I used to bark at them as I chased them but I kept getting in trouble for that so I just stopped barking and kept right on chasing, this way I can get away with it to some extent. Other times I do get in trouble but it's so worth it! When I get tired of that game it's usually time for me to irritate, I mean play, with Gizmo again. Once in awhile my sister will get a toy out to play with and, you guessed it, that's the exact moment that I decide I wanted to play with that toy. So then I grab the toy and take it away from Trinquette. This upsets my mommy and she usually gets the toy and gives it back to sis. I so gotta train my mommy again! By this time usually Gizmo and my sister are pretty tired but I'm not done, I wanna play and I usually get what I want.
It was then that I heard my mommy tell grandma that she is going to have me bottled and sold as an energy supplement! Um what do you think she meant? So I have a little energy and am a big irritant factor to Gizmo and Trinquette, but I don't think my punishment should be put in a bottle!!!!! I've been having nightmares about it. I'm all squished up in this bottle with my tail sticking out of the top and everything I see is distorted as my eyes are pushed up against the side of the bottle.....someone wake me please!
Gotta go and hide this whole bottle thing is freaking me out, but who knows I may be on a shelf at a store near you soon!!!!!

Well it was that Christmas time of year again and the house had things all over it that I, again, could not touch. Doesn't my mommy know that her Christmas stuffed animals look JUST LIKE my toys and I had the darndest time understanding why I could not touch them. But this year my mommy had a defense system all prepared to use against my playing, touching and chewing on her Christmas things, she bought this stuff called Bitter Apple and boy does it taste icky. So this year mommy felt very satisfied as I didn't touch much although I did sneak in a few items (don't tell mommy).
My mommy was having Christmas dinner at our new Condo and my Grandma came over a few days before Christmas to help prepare the dinner. Everything was going along just fine when I decided to jump off of our couch. My mommy has a coffee table with a glass top and when I jumped I didn't see the table and the top of my head hit the glass top right corner and for a moment I saw stars. Usually when I get hurt I'm just fine and don't want to be bothered with any pampering I may get but this time, I WANTED MY MOMMY. My Grandma came running out of the restroom and asked what that noise was and mommy told her my head hitting the table. I was so fussed over and quite frankly didn't mind. But then I started to get very sleepy and felt kinda icky in my tummy. I ate a little bit of my supper but then, well, I threw it up. It was at that point mommy wrapped me up in my blankie and took me to the dreaded vet. Once I got into the vet she said my eyes were kinda fixed (whatever that means) and were not dialating properly and suggested that I spend the night as they thought I had a concussion. WHAT, I had to stay and my mommy left, oy the stress of it all. The vet people gave me some fast acting steroids for my brain and some medicine for my upset tummy and watched me through the night and I got to go home the next day. I was so glad to be home but it took me about 4-5 days before I played or was back to normal. So glad that event was over! Mommy felt so bad that I got all kinds of new toys.
Thank goodness I was feeling much better when Christmas eve rolled along cause ya see, my mommy gets me and my sister Trinquette presents and she wraps them up and we get to open them. This is the one time of the year that we can tear paper to shreds and mommy doesn't mind. When she gave us our first presents, well I kinda had to watch my sis as she is a pro at opening presents but I finally got the hang of it and had such a wonderful time. I've decided that Christmas is definately one of my mostest favorite times of the year.
But then as quickly as the Christmas stuff was put up, it was gone. Humans, why do they go to all the bother. Especially when I CAN'T TOUCH anything that is called "a decoration" . Oh well I have another year to try and out smart mommy to get at her Christmas thingies. It's a battle of wits.
Well, I've gotta go chew on my bone mommy gave and my sister Trinquette. It's such fun we chew on our own bones then we trade off.
That's all for now, love and tail wags,
Sassy,

Well hello everyone it's me Sassy and no I didn't fall of the face of the earth but alot has changed in my and my sister's life.
First off I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my pup pals who sent their best wishes about my daddy it helped alot! It helped mommy too.
Now on with the news. Well, my mommy, me and my sister Trinquette moved in with my Grandma and her pap Gizmo in April as we sold our house. Good thing too as I think I went pee pee or poo on every inch of the floor. Anyway I digress. Gizmo's little world was turned upside down, not only did he have to share his toys with me (he wasn't very happy) but he had to deal with my bad habits. Ya see, I love to lick him in his cute little eyes and try and take his mostest favorite toys away from him. He was such the gentleman in the beginning not trying to get them back from me. But you know what, yeah that changed the longer I stayed. The nerve, he started to get back at me. But eventually towards the end of our stay my Grandma would take turns throwing our toys and we got the hang of playing together, well I got the hang of it Gizmo knew all along.
My mommy bought us a new home something called a condo in June but we could not move until August. Then this July mommy had surgery and had complications and my sister and I could not sleep with mommy while she was recovering. This made me very sad and my Grandma and mommy had the nerve to put up something called a baby gate to keep me away from mommy. Way harsh.
August 19th we moved into our little condo and I love it. It has a nice little space for some grass that we will get eventually but at least the move solved one of my long standing problems. Yes, I, Sassy am actually potty trained (I know don't faint). Mommy bought this contraption called a doggy door and me and sis use it, that is once mommy cut that annoying flap off of the darn thing. Although I must admit, I have had a couple of accidents.
I've picked up, since the move, another bad habit, I BARK alot! There is so much going on in our condo complex I'm always on my guard. This annoys mommy terribly. What's a bark collar?
I'm a year old now (new pics coming soon once mommy figures out how to get the pics off of her camera and onto the computer) and have now sprouted a bunch more of that fur stuff. Now when I pee my long hair gets all dirty and I'm always having my butt washed in the sink. This sooooooooo annoys me!
Oh did I tell you I live right next door to Godzilla? My neighbor is a HUGE pit bull by the name of Tyson. (Is that after Mike and do I need to watch my ears, ya know I have really big ones). But on a good note he doesn't seem to bother me or my sis. (Thank goodness)!
Well that's it for now good to be back, I missed you guys!

Hello everyone!
Sorry I haven't had the time to write but as you may recall my daddy had something called cancer. Over the past two weeks my daddy was feeling very badly to the point where he could not pet me or my sister Trinquette anymore. Mommy would put us on daddy's bed but he was always sleeping, but that was o.k., as I was still able to be with daddy.
Tuesday evening all of our family came over to the house to be with mommy and they were all saying goodbye to daddy. This confused me very much and I became very upset. Then at 7:36 I heard mommy say to everyone "Daddy's gone". It was at that point that I could not bear to be apart from my daddy and I did everything I could do to get on his bed with him. Finally after what seemed like a life time mommy picked me up and placed me on the bed with my daddy. He was no longer breathing but I still gave my daddy a few kisses and I just went and laid down against my daddy's legs. Then for some reason mommy got me off of daddy's bed and I was very upset and crying, I looked at mommy and she softly told me daddy has gone to live with God.
It is a little strange now when I go into bed for the night with mommy. I lay down where daddy is supposed to be waiting for him to come to bed, but he does not show up.
So I guess my daddy is gone forever from my sight, but you know what, he will always live with me in my heart. I love my daddy!!!!!

What's with all this white stuff? I live in Southern California and enjoy the nice weather we have here. But last Saturday I was just doing my thing when all of a sudden, I swear, the sky fell and it made a horrible, loud noise! Mom and my brother Ryan were all excited running from the back door to the front and watching this white hard stuff falling. I mean it was just falling from the sky and it wasn't stopping either. I managed to stick my head out and OUCH that hard white stuff hurt as it hit my head, not to mention I got all wet and cold. I dont' do wet and cold!
My mommy took pictures of our back yard as it was ALL white and my brother grabbed a handful of this white stuff and froze it in the freezer (and they say "I" have issues). Mommy says that this never happens here in sunny California. It was soooooooo cold out that the white stuff froze on the roads and people were just a slippin and a slidin and this brought great enjoyment to my mom as she watched the people try and drive...once again, humans, gotta love um.
I gotta give all you puppies that live in this white, cold stuff credit...how do you do it?
That's it for now, love and tail wags, Sassy!
