Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: November 22nd 1999
Likes: Eating, fetching tennis balls, playing flyball

Pet-Peeves: when her brothers invade her space, having her toes touched, the toaster dinging, sharing her tennis ball

Favorite Toy: Humm...the tennis ball! Especially the squeaky one

Favorite Food: Anything! She really likes fruits and veggies though. She LOVES bananas and comes running to the kitchen when she hears one ripped from the bunch

Favorite Walk: To the car for flyball practice

Best Tricks: High-5, catches ball very well (and never gets tired of it), she's getting good at flyball too!

Arrival Story: Abbey was born at New Hanover County Animal Control in North Carolina. When we adopted Abbey she was so small!!! Her whole body was the size her head is now. We always wondered if her mom was a large dog...they wouldn't let us see her at the shelter! Probably didn't want to scare off a potential adopter by her momma's large size. :-) Abbey's been a doll since day one. The day we were scheduled to bring her home there was a snow storm, which is unheard of in Wilmington! Everything was closed but luckily we were able to bring her home! Oscar wasn't too crazy about her at first, but she persistently snuggled with him and soon he was in love. She definitely brought the puppy out in him again.

Bio: Abbey's always been a bit of a drama queen. She played her first dramatic role during her first week home. One day she started wailing, out of the blue! We rushed to her and she couldn't walk, kept falling over herself like her front legs didn't work. We watched for a while and she wasn't improving, so we ran her to the vet. As soon as she got there she acted fine - wagging her tail and very happy to see everyone. Upon closer examination of her paw pad it appears she may have stepped on a pine needle on the carpet. All that because of one pine needle! Told ya - drama queen.
