Arrival Story:
Hubert comes from a breeder who had too many dogs. He was 4 1/2 years old when we got him and he had spent most of his life in a kennel, but he was very well cared for. He grew up with cats and there's nothing he'd like more than if his kitty brother Joe were more cuddly or more willing to be licked.
Bio:
Hubert is actually Champion Sir Hubert. He gained his Canadian championship in 2001. He showed in Eastern Canada and New England and in Ontario. In 2000 he ranked the fourth best basset in Canada on the show circuit. He's retired now and uses his aristocratic title only on formal occasions.
