Arrival Story:
Parker was found tied to a bench in Queens N.Y. with a tow truck chain! He was about one year old, maybe 45 lbs. and scared. He was taken in by Loving Touch animal rescue. We decided to foster him until he was ready to be adopted. He collapsed twice in the first week we had him and nearly died. He seemed to have a weak heart. We thought he might need a pacemaker. Loving Touch held fundraisers to to help pay for his medical expenses. We took him to a specialist who determined that because the heart is basically just another muscle, it had been too weak to keep beating. But because he was getting good nutrition from us, his heart was improving. Parker's heart wasn't just physically sick, it was emotionally sick too. It was broken! He was terrified of every human being. Excpet babies, he loves babies! After living with us and our three other dogs for 5 months, Parker was ready to find his forever home. Or was he? Parker went to live with a nice family who loved him. But he didn't make the transition. He missed his foster family. Parker returned to us and we decided to keep him forever!!! Parker is now a full fledged member of the family and is closest to his human daddy and his canine brother Bogey, but loves his entire family!

I've been tagged twice in two days. It's nice to be popular.
So here goes.
Each player start's with 7 random fact's about themselves. Dog's who are tagged need to post in their diary the rules and their 7 pawsome fact's. Then choose 2 dog's to tag and list their names. Don't forget to bark them a pmail that they've been tagged and to read you diary.
1. I am working on getting over some of my anxieties at home with Mom's friend who is also a trainer.
2. My new trainer also makes awesome cookies in her kitchen, and brings some with her for my brothers and me.
3. I am doing really well with my new training. The trainer said I am very smart.
4. It feels really good to get tagged twice. It lets me know that I am not forgotten by my friends. And also because my brother Dante usually gets all the attention.
5. I think my Aunt Patti (Belle's Mom) is my favoritest person in the world, after my Dad of course. But I still love my Mom.
6. My trainer told Mom that she loves me so much, that she wants to steal me and take me home for herself
7. Our 1940 Buick was also Tucker's favorite car. He liked going for rides with Mom & Dad in any car. But you could tell this car was his all time favorite. Dad says he wishes we could explain in people terms why we love that car so much.

Okay, Maui & Truckin Sandy have both tagged me. So I guess I have to do this. And I don't even have a diary. Oh Well...
Because it’s Thanksgiving time, there is a change to the rules. Each player needs to tell seven special things they are thankful for. Tagged dogs must post the rules in their diary and their 7 things. Then choose 7 pups to tag and list their names. Let them know by pawmail or rosette that they have been tagged and to read your diary for the instructions on how to play.
Here is what I am thankful for:
1. The nice lady who found me tied to a bench in the city.
2. Aunt Zulma and her rescue group Loving Touch for taking me in. And all of the people who do Rescue. Whitout them, so many dogs, like me, would never get a chance at a real life, and real LOVE !
3. My Mom & Dad for loving me and giving me a forever home and a reason to live.
4. My brother Bogey who was always nice to me, and the rest of my fur brothers for putting up with me.
5. Dr. Jane Bicks for formulating the best dog food in the world. Without her high quality food, I may not have lived very long! And for her teaching my Mommy about pet nutrition so that she knew how to care for me.
6. My (and Dad's) 1940 Buick because we take it to places where there are a lot of people and it allows me to show them what a Rottweiler really is, and teach them that we are not mean, bad dogs. It is my way of giving back.
7. All my friends on Dogster.
But especially those in the Rotten Rompin Rotties group. These are the best friends to have in the whole world. The are like my second family ! Of course I can't forget my girlfriend, Kona !
