 Quick Bio:
Likes: Walks! Long walks! Really early!

Pet-Peeves: Not being able to meet every dog he sees

Favorite Toy: A rubber toy loaded with treats, tennis balls (quickly shredded), nylabone

Favorite Food: Any food, any time

Favorite Walk: Anywhere, anytime

Best Tricks: Convincing his neighbor to rescue him from a backyard chain

Arrival Story: A neighbor of Frasier's knew he was being horribly neglected on a chain. She wrote letters for a year, looking for a rescue group to take him. (His "owner" didn't want him.) Her friend started dating a guy in my husband's band, my name was mentioned as helping dogs...so he ended up in my living room. I fostered him until recently, when he found his dream home.

Bio: Frasier is a sweet, fun-loving 60 lb hound/pointer mix, about 20 months old. He's the perfect combination of a mellow adult dog who sleeps at your feet and a playful young dog who chases balls. He LOVES other dogs and likes cats. He is submissive, so he'd make a good companion to an alpha dog. Frasier is extremely loving, eager to please and learns quickly. He walks well on a leash, loves car rides and is completely housebroken. He's comfortable in a crate, but can also be left loose in the house. He is good with children. Due to his size, strength and adolescent awkwardness, he should probably be adopted by a family with children 7 years or older. Frasier was a stray who was allowed to roam free as the "neighborhood dog", before he spent 6 months chained in a back yard. He still has a strong urge to roam, but settles for walks 2-3 times a day. He cannot be left unsupervised in a fenced back yard; he will try to escape.
