Arrival Story:
I found Romeo on a Richmond college campus; he came running up to my dog and I during a walk. I was very relieved to discover he is friendly! I took him to a Richmond shelter, where I expected him to be claimed by his owner. (He was wearing a collar.) He was not claimed, so I adopted him to save his life. (I could not keep him, because he needed to be the only dog in his home.) I got him neutered, treated his respiratory infection and heartworms, and eventually found a wonderful permanent adoptive home for him.

Dear Dogster/Catster,
Please release Gizmo and Luke from the dog/cat of the week spots. It was wonderful to read all about them but now I would like to see another dog/cat honored there.
