It's been a while since mom's been up to taking dogtation but this weekend she feels will be the perfect time to reconnect with all our pals on Dogster. As you all know, we lost my brother, Baby Porkchop, three weeks ago and it's been really, really hard for mom and Belle. Stubby and I are doing everything we can to make them feel better and hopefully smile again but right now it's still too hard. Mom keeps saying her heart hurts and won't stop aching. However, she said that she is so thankful for all the love and support pups and their pawrents have shared with us. She said that has helped so much and that given the Thanksgiving holiday, it is the perfect time to recognize all the wonderful things that each of you do for so many here in our little Dogster world.
So...we'll be back online this weekend and we will thank each and every one of you properly. Until then...thank you ever so much for the generosity, kindness and love you have all shown us during this sad time. If not for each of you, we don't know if mom and Belle could have made it through this. You are all angels!!!!
Love and licks furever,
Maggie

Mom ordered a beautiful urn for Baby's ashes. Engraved on the urn will be:
My Beloved Baby
Such a very special soul
Forever in my heart
Happy funny kissy bunny
We're picking Baby's ashes up tomorrow. It will be nice to finally have him "home".
We all love you Baby!!!! Our hearts ache because you're no longer here to make us laugh, give us kisses and to light up each moment of our lives. No matter what you will always be with us...in our hearts and our thoughts...and we will love you forever and miss you every moment of every day!!!!

It's been a ruff weekend!! My bunny brother, Baby Porkchop, seemed to not feel well on Saturday so mommy took him to the vet. They were there for four hours getting Baby treatment for an intestinal blockage. (Yes, it's the same thing that Belle had two weeks ago. Those bad bunnies must have gotten into something that mom wasn't aware of. Ooooh, I'm gonna spank them!) Anyway, mom and Baby came home on Saturday and Baby just rested all night. Mom slept on the floor with him and just stayed by his side because he was obviously not happy nor comfortable even though they gave him pain meds and stuff to clear the blockage.
Well after a long, long night, mom decided Sunday morning that Baby wasn't any better. In fact, he was actually getting worse so she rushed him back to the vet. The vet decided that she was going to keep Baby at the hospital for a couple of days and keep him on an I.V. and try to administer fluids, food and anything else that might help him pass the blockage. They did x-rays and don't even know where the blockage is. It seems his tummy is full of food, or hair, and the initial treatment should have made all of that pass...but it didn't.
Anyway, mom left the vet crying because she doesn't know what to do to help Baby. What's worse is that he can't even be with us so we can take care of him. Mom is just a mess and can't stop crying. She called the vet a bunch of times yesterday and Baby is still not eating (they're force feeding him Critical Care - 12ccs at a time, I think), they've still got him on the I.V. and there is no improvement. Mom cried most of the night and tried to keep Belle company because she misses Baby too! Baby and Belle love each other terribly and mom is so worried about the impact this is having on her too!
Well, if anybody reads this and wants to join our little prayer circle, please just click here and post in the forum. Thanks everypup!!! Please keep Baby in your thoughts and envision him in a healing white light...okay?
Love furever,
Maggie

Stubby and I have been given the wonderful opportunity to bless 40 pups with 40 very, very special rosettes! :) In honor and loving memory of our beloved friend Daisy, we are sharing these 40 love-filled rosettes with 40 very special pooches. (Only picking 40 was REALLY, REALLY hard though as ALL pups on Dogster are special!) What makes these rosettes so unique is that they are actually from Daisy and her family, traveling through me and Stubby and directly to you pups. The beauty part...Daisy is alive and well in our thoughts and actions and her spirit is working through all of us. Daisy's a pup of love and we're honored to honor her in this special way!! :)
So thank you to Daisy's family!! We hope we've done your baby girl proud!
And thank you to all the pups on Dogster who have given their hearts, their tears and their shoulders to families like Daisy's who are struggling through a devastating time!
And to all the pups who received rosettes...think of Daisy every time you see that rainbow. :)
Love furever,
Magnolia and Scout

Whoda thunk it?! Not me. Perhaps mom, but definitely not me. So, let's see...I've been featured in the Arizona Republic in the Pets and Their People column...that was fun! Stubby and I both were in Arrowhead Life magazine... kinda cool too. I've done some modeling work (see the school attire photo) as well. Then, on that fateful day of June 10th, Dogster designated me as Dog of the Day! Holy cow...I never thought ANYTHING could be better than that! I mean seriously...what's better than Dogster?! Nothing really...except maybe...
The Bark Magazine!!
Yes, it's true...I will be in an upcoming 2008 issue in the Smiling Dogs section! Can you believe it?!!? I'm shocked! Speechless!! Without speech...once again! Who knew that a senior (yes, it's official...I'm a senior now) girl would have some sort of appeal and would be sought out to grace the pages of not only this wonderful world of Dogster, but The Bark Magazine too?! I'm blushing and terribly honored!! Thank you Dogster, thank you The Bark, thank you to my friends, my family and my fans! Without all of you, I'm nothing but little old me. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to preen and primp and make myself photo-worthy!
Bark soon.

This is the new game on Dogster called Love-Tagged. We are to choose three special pups that mean a lot to us and explain why. That's easy!! The hard part is picking only three pups! *Sigh*! So maybe I'll be a rebel, like Sammy J, and pick more than three. He he he!! And the other hard part is that we are not supposed to choose a dog that tagged us, but I'm going to say...
I love the pups that Love-Tagged me ever sooo much!!! They are Samuel Jacob and April!!! Hugs, wags and kisses to you both!!!!!!
Well, here goes...
Sundar: My bestest friend is also one of my boyfriends! Sundar is like sunshine on a cloudy day and he always makes me feel special, beautiful and most of all loved. Sundar and I were friends long before we ever fell in love so we have a very special relationship. Sadly, he's been off of Dogster for awhile because his mom and dad bought a house and moved the whole pack, so since that time I've been waiting (impatiently) for my sunny Sundar to come back to me. I miss him so! I love you, Sundar!!!! I love you so!
Nellie: Nellie is the happiest, most inspiring pup I know!! She is beautiful and funny and always lives life so fully!! The tragedy is that my dear friend is very ill. So ill in fact she'll be journeying to The Bridge soon :( but she still lives her life with pure joy, love and laughter! To know Nellie is to know that she is the warmth and light that radiates from the sun and she is now, and always will be, to me Nellie - my local Dogster sun! I love you my friend! You make life bright and beautiful!!!!
Austin: Oh my dear Austie!! Talk about handsome and kind and absolutely wonderful!! That's Austin!! Austin is a kind, giving and loving pup who swept me off my paws the day I found him. He was Dog of the Day and we saw each other and just fell head over paws for each other. I'm such a lucky girl because Austin is a beautiful dream realized!!! I love my Austie Spumantie so much!!! Austie makes me so happy I chase my tail!!
River and Clover: My sweet little friend River is such a special pup to me! She came to her family when they had lost their beloved Clover...a beautiful and special girl like no other. River brought light, love and life when it was needed the most and she's proven that while a pup will never replace another who has journeyed on, she can heal a heart and help a family love beyond measure once again! I'm blessed to have River as my friend and I know that Clover is helping to keep her little puppy butt out of trouble. Well, sort of. ;)
Frodo: My beloved friend Frodo ALWAYS makes me laugh and he (and his mom Hilary) are so incredibly generous, kind and they are always there when you need them! Frodo is the kind of pup that we all want to be and I'm proud to be considered one of his friends! I'm honored in fact. Frodo is very special and I am forever grateful to have found him (and mom) here on Dogster!! I just love you my friend!!! Woofs and wags and sloppy smooches to you, sweet boy!! You make me smile!
Mr. Sixx: As soon as I saw Mr. Sixx as Dog of the Day, I just knew I had to meet him. He seemed to be soooo special and reminded me sooooo much of my dear brother, Scout. As it turns out Mr. Sixx is the sweetest, silliest, most handsome and loving boy and I just adore him!! He just always brings a huge smile to my face and every time I see him, I just melt. Mr. Sixx captured my heart and I love and adore him! Oh yes I do!!
Penny Lane: Penny Lane is such a loving and beautiful pup!!! Penny Lane is so willing to give love and support to any and all pups, and she always is kind! Penny Lane epitomizes a good doggie citizen, a champion for all pups and a gentle spirit who brings love and light wherever she goes. Penny Lane is a pup that I am sooooo blessed to call friend!! I admire you, my friend and I love you soooo much!
Benny The Bruiser: Benny is the most amazing and perfect representative of a terribly misunderstood breed! If anyone with any misgivings or misconceptions about Pitties met Benny, they would be awestruck by his humor, his beautiful nature, his silliness and his heart! Benny is a Pittie to the core and the reason why we LOVE Pitties! He's sweet and such a good friend, and we're so grateful to know both Benny and Roxy and to call them pals! I love you my sweet little Benny!!
Jay-Jay: My little friend, Root Beer Jay-Jay is an inspiration to all pups! He works his little fuzzy butt so hard to raise money for pups in need! He's always a champion for any pup who needs love or prayers and he'll give you the shirt off his back if you needed it! Jay-Jay is the bestest boy! He's happy and sooooo full of life! I love you my little fuzzy-butted friend very much!!
Wow...that was hard because there are sooooo many more pups I want to recognize! Oh well, maybe I'll get Love-Tagged again and then I can highlight more of my wonderful friends!

To all my new pup pals and everyone else visiting my page today,
I am so grateful for the honor Dogster has bestowed upon me today! It is truly remarkable and it makes me ever so humble. I would like to use my pup celebrity today to call attention to three very important pups: Nellie, Raven and Daisy.
These are all pup pals of mine and they are all in desperate need of our prayers and love!
Nellie is my wonderful friend from down under who is very, very sick. In fact, Nellie will be going to the Bridge in a few short months. It would mean the world to me if you stopped by Nellie's page and said hi. I have created a thread in the Get Well Soon forum this morning for Nellie as well so please stop by there and join the prayer circle for her.
Raven is a new pup on Dogster and one of my newest pup pals. She too is sick with Stage 5 Lymphoma. I created a thread in the GWS forum last night for her so please visit and join the prayer circle. Raven is a beautiful and pawesome pup who is far too young to be battling such a disease! She needs our love and prayers desperately.
Daisy, as most of you already know, is fighting her way, hopefully, out of a shelter in Ontario, Canada. More than that, she's fighting for her life and we need to ALL keep Daisy in our thoughts and prayers!! We're hoping for a miracle with this one! We love you Daisy and we always will!!!

Mommy just told me the big news that I'm Dog of the Day! OMD, I cannot even begin to describe how pawesome I feel right now!!! Nevertheless, I am honored and humbled by this wonderful surprise! Oh thank you Dogster!!! Thank you to all of my beloved pup pals...old and new!!! Thanks to everyone for your outpouring of love and congratulations! I had 26 pawmails this morning...and it's only 7:ooa! Holy cow!
Stubby and I are jumpinp up and down on the bed telling daddy the great news right now!!! This is the most pawesomest thing ever!

Oh thank you to the anonymous beach ball bouncer who surprised me with a rosette today! I love it and am bouncing the ball to another wonderful pup to spread the love. Hmm...who shall I bounce the ball to? Only the lucky recipient will know.
Thank you again for my rosette mister or miss anonymous!! I love it!
Maggie
