Arrival Story:
I was driving down the road at about 5:30 am and saw something cross the road in the distance and slowed down to see what it was. That is when I spotted a little Beagle standing in a puddle of water by the side of the road. She looked lost and tired and had no tags. She slept in the passenger seat until I got off duty almost 2hrs later. I picked her up,put her in the car and took her home to meet her new family. Missy liked Puddle and took her under her wing as if she was her puppy. Charile respected Puddle because she would stand her ground and would not let him push her around. Sometimes they would all play together chaising each other around the yard. Puddle even tried to be a watch dog. She would stand behind Charlie and Missy and join in the barking at the gate when people would pass by there yard. Puddle had a ligament replaced and a growth removed 2007 and her leg is great but she now has 6 more growths, 3 on her head and 2 of the 3 are right by her eye. I dont want her to have a bunch of surgeries and hope they can remove most of them at once. I am worried about the cost and am saving up now. Hope to be able to get it done soon.

Due to some changes in my life... Puddle and Charlie came to live with me and Missy remained at her home. Just one year later I think that Puddle understood that Charlie was sick because she would lay next to him and this was not something that she ever did with him before. Charlie died about a year after the move and Puddle misses him, she still looks for him if you mention his name, and gives every Germanshepherd a second look and sniff. Puddle loves to visit Missy and play with her in the yard when ever she gets the chance. It has been 2yrs since Charlie died and Puddle just got her sister "Missy" back to live with her again!

I lost my big brother Charlie a long time ago and missed him but my big sister Missy came to live with me and I felt better until June 16 2013 when my dad brought her to the doctor late at night because she was in pain. He let me see her and said I should say good-bye because she was too sick to come home. He said I would see her again some day but I only see her when I sleep now. I am very sad that she is gone and miss her. I don't sleep in her bed incase she comes back but some times I lay next to it hoping she comes back.
