I love summer!

Today is the first day of summer and I'm so happy! I love the warm weather, going outside and playing in the sun and water. I love when mommy turns on the water hose and I get to play in the water! This is my favorite time of the year!!
This is going to be my second summer! I will be 2 years old next month, on July 23rd. I'm excited for my birthday. I remember my first birthday was fun, with treats and surprises!

It's almost Valentine's Day~

Here it is already February, almost Valentine's Day 2007!! Time flies by, it was just Christmas it seems like. I'm doing very good these days. I will be happier when the weather is warm all the time again because I don't like it when it's cold. I get cold easily! It's almost Mimi's 1st birthday (my sis) which I'm excited about. She was a lot of work for me; I was the one she played with the most. At first it was great, but then she got bigger than me and became pretty rough sometimes. One day we were playing and she got so wild with me that she actually bit my paw and made one of my nails fall off..... rrrr.... I was so mad at her!! She is getting calmer and more settled down now that she's almost one. I still love her very much and she is still my very good play pal!! :)

I'm turning 1 year old!!

I can't believe I'll be one year old on July 23, this Sunday. It seems like I was such a tiny little puppy for so long, busy learning so many things, growing up little by little .... and now I'm finally going to be a year old. I'm so excited for my birthday and wonder if I'm going to get a present?! What's really great, is that Oliver has the same birthday as me, he will be 2 this year. We are both so excited for our big day!!

I have a new friend!

Recently, we got a new pup friend to live with us. Her name is Mimi, she is now 3 months old. At first, I didn't want her to stay, I felt sort of jealous when mommy held her and gave her kisses. I thought it was going to take some of the attention off of me, but I now realize I was wrong. I am so happy we have Mimi living with us because she is so much fun! Her and I love to play endlessly. We chase each other around and play games all day long. Once in a while, she bites me and it hurts, so I have to bite her back to teach her how it feels... it seems to be working because she doesn't do it as much. Oliver is still my best buddy although he's not nearly as playful; Mimi and I are having a lot of fun together and I'm so happy she is here to stay! And the best part is mommy still loves ME just as much as always, so there was no reason for me to be jealous!

Going to the groomer...

Hi! I went to the doggy groomer over the weekend for the second time in my life. It was a little scarry again, but not as bad as the first time. I really needed to go because I had fur growing into my eyes and my nails were getting too long. Mom keeps telling me how pretty I smell now and how soft I feel. I didn't mind going too much either because Oliver went with me, so I wasn't by my self.
I didn't even get car sick on the drive there, like I do sometimes. I don't especially like rides in the car, it makes me sort of nervous. I'm hoping to outgrow being car sick when I get bigger! :)

I'm in heat already....

I can't believe this is happening to me and I'm still just a baby! I'm not even 7 months old yet, and I'm having my first heat. I'm barely potty trained! It's pretty crazy what is going on with me and I don't like it at all. I constatly need to clean myself, Oliver keeps sniffing me way more than usual and my mom said she has to watch me every minute. She even has me wearing diapers which is the worse part. I don't like wearing diapers! Mom told me it's only for a few more days, but it seems like forever. I'll be really happy when this heat thing is done and I'm back to myself again... and Oliver stops sniffing me like crazy! It's so annoying and very unfair since I'm merely a baby!
