Arrival Story:
Kacee belonged to a man that had a small farm with chickens and he also raised Great Danes. He put Kacee out in the pen with the Great Danes and he kept getting out and killing his chickens. He killed the first one at 4 months old! (He might have weighed 5 lbs. then). The guy borrowed a $500 fighting cock from a neighbor to breed with his chickens and Kacee killed it. That was the final straw (he had to pay the man back for the rooster) and he gave Kacee to us. He was 1 yr. old and had a different name so we changed it to Kacee which stands for KC which stands for "Kills Chickens" LOL It was our gain! He is so precious and has been a wonderful addition to our family. He keeps us laughing with his antics all the time. We do however keep him away from chickens :o)

Bio:
I found out by accident that one of my best friends has his Mom, Lady. Lady was a retired breeder female that she got from one of her breeder friends here in our area. The breeder friend has his father, Charlie Brown. His Mom is a black and silver dapple SH and his father is a chocolate and tan LH. Kacee is boundless energy. He sure has livened the place up around here. I don't think he had ever had any toys before we got him and I've never seen a dog that loves toys as much as he does! (especially if they make a noise or squeak). His favorite past time is emptying out the big toy basket and strowing toys all over the house!
