Maggie's life in Canada

My first entry

Hello, My name is Maggie and I moved here to be with my new mom in October 2005. It was a long plane flight, but I think it took me right to heaven. My new mom turned out to be really good to me and she gives me lots of love and treats. I sleep on her bed every night and when she goes to work I get a bone so I dont miss her too much. She always comes back and She is just as happy to see me as I am to see her. I wait in the window when I know she will soon be home so she can see me right away.
I have a big back yard now to play in; but where I dont come on command very good yet (I am working really hard on that) I am on a 50Ft lead that gives me room to run and play.
I had a really good weekend. My mom took me to meet my new friend, Gator, and then we all went to the park. Gator showed me all of the tricks that he knows and played with me (I think he likes me, he kissed me a whole lot). When we finished playing we walked for a bit and then went to Gators for a little while. My mom had to wake me up to go back home, I was sooooo pooped out from playing in the park, but I had such a good time. Gator's mom even gave me some treats too because I was such a good girl, and Gator did not even mind.
I really love my new home and cant wait to see what other adventures I will have here, and who I will meet next. My mom promised that she would protect me so I am not afraid. I wonder where she will take me next weekend?
