Getting his ears cleaned, people who don't stop to give him some attention, Having to do too many tricks for one little treat!

Favorite Toy:
Furry Babies, an empty Pepsi Bottle, an old glove

Favorite Food:
ANYTHING!!!! Especially Timbits from the drive through-and Bread. He loves to steal the bread Mom puts out for the crows!!!

Favorite Walk:
Rainbow Haven Beach, Conrad's Beach, Shubie Park - Anywhere all of his buddies are going

Best Tricks:
When he speaks, he always jumps! He won't drink out of a bowl, he likes to drink out of the toilet, he will always bark so someone will come and give it a flush so it's fresh!

Arrival Story:
We met Sam when he was a few weeks old and he arrived at our house at Easter in 1998. We hadn't had a dog in five years -- since we lost our Doberman Rusty and Sheltie Jessie. He was a very laid back puppy and always was a very affectionate boy. He loves to give kisses and loves to snuggle - he is a 100+ lb. lap dog. He is the biggest Mama's boy ever!!!

Sam is the most lovey boy. He loves his people! He owns a mom, dad and a boy and a girl! And he has all of his people trained very well!~~~~He loves people and especially kids. He is a kind soul and everyone who meets him loves him. He is truly a mama's boy. His Dad says he has beagle legs!!!! He is the best dog and we love him so much. He looks like a polar bear when he swims - he loves to swim, but not with his people - too busy trying to rescue them! Loves to tobogan in the winter, best trick is pulling mom off the crazy carpet. He is a big silly boy!

Forums Motto:
Where there is bread there's Sam!

I just wanted everyone to know that my vet told my mom that I have lymphatic cancer. It was confirmed last Monday. My Family is very, very sad. We are trying to make the best of the time we have left. The vet told my mom she would know when the times comes for me to go to Rainbow Bridge.
When I have good days we go to the beach or the park to see my friends. I hope everyone will say a prayer for me and especially my Mom, it is very hard on her, but I know when I get to Rainbow Bridge my Nan and my buddies Griffon and Lucas will be waiting for me.

Summer Fun

Well here it is August! Me and my pals have had a great summer! We've been swimming everyday at the lake - rolling in the dirt! Just having fun! My mom says she will be happy when the cool weather comes so all the non-dog people will go away! I can't understand why some people don't like getting wet when we come out of the water and shake!!!! It's hot, the water's cool! What's the problem! And then... there is the problem of picnics - I tend to invite myself over and some people aren't that thrilled with that! Hey what's a peanut butter sandwich, or a few chips anyway! Those kids with you weren't going to eat that! Soon enough the summer days will fade to the fall, those kids will go back to school and the non-dog people will go back inside! I guess it will be a good thing.
