Birthday: December 19th 1999 Likes: Taking long walks, playing with my toys, being with my mommy! Pet-Peeves: I don't really like men all that much, but there are some that are ok. Best Tricks: My mom trained me to work in movies and tv so I can do pretty much anything, although it does depend on my mood too! I will also protect my mommy at all costs!! Arrival Story: I was looking for a dog at the ASPCA in December of 2001 and found a few that I was interested in, so I went to get their cage cards so I could have them brought out to meet with me. When I went back to get their cage cards, Dexter had suddenly appeared in a cage next to one I was interested in. He was all overgrown, you couldn't even see his eyes! I was a little concerned with his breed, having had a bad experience with a Schnauzer as a child, but he was adorable and I couldn't resist him. They brought him out to the play area to see me and he ran right up to me and gave me a kiss-I said, that's my dog, I'm taking him home! Bio: Update: Dexter went to Rainbow Bridge yesterday, February 22nd, 2011 after battling cancer for 3 months. The hole in my heart and life is huge and my pain and grief over losing him is indescribable. I miss him so much and I look forward to the day when we're together again. Until then, I know you're my guardian angel and will always with me in spirit, right by my side. Love you my baby Dexter Ben, I love you so, so much. Boy has there been a lot going on in our house! My mom is packing stuff up and it's kind of confusing. Today she keeps telling me we're going to take a long car trip on Sunday - hooray! My mom says we're going to California to our new house, don't know what to think about that. Mom says I will like it because we will be right in the city (West Hollywood) and there will be a lot of people to bark at - I love to bark!
Scotty doesn't seem very phased about anything, he just follows mom around, then lies down to take a nap wherever she happens to be packing things up. He's silly, he's such a mommy's boy, nothing like me! ; )
Mom says we're taking a cross country adventure, so I guess this will make me and Scotty well traveled? I know that whenever we go places in the car we sometimes stop at drive throughs, I LOVE to bark at the drive through people - I bet we see a lot on our trip!!
