So another christmas is here

So hi guys - mamma hasn't been to this page for so long - she says since we've been 'retired' days just melt away!!

We are in california for the whole winter and - omg how better it feels on the paws than going out in the rain and snow. Mamma tells me we have a warm time coming which is good 'cause remember my big bro from england - well he's coming thursday for 10 days. I can't wait to see him - he loves me so much i know and younger bro is coming as well on saturday so we are going to be a complete family - mamma, daddy and two bros an ME!!

My plaque

Hello guys this is walker again. Mamma has been so busy recently that she hasn't been going to dogster.com but they emailed her and said they missed us - so here i am telling you my latest news.

Well about a year ago now i had to have surgery 'cause i had a ruptured spine and i was in a lot of pain. Lots of your parents gave mamma good tips on what to do but in the end she decided surgery was the only way to go. She told me it was very expensive but she didn't care as it was only money and i was more precious than anything else in her life (apart from maybe daddy and my two human bros. - hehe!!!) Anyway i'm fine now and feel like a pup again.

It seems that everytime i write a diary note i'm off to california with mamma - well guess what - i'm going tuesday. I'm getting to be a pro at travelling and mamma says the airlines should give me frequent flyer miles so i could get a free ride sometimes. Think of it i have to go into the belly of the plane and it's so noisy - you little dogs have it made 'cause you can go under the seat with your parents.

So what else is up? - the title of my story is plaque. Mamma had a plaque done for me. It's hand painted from photos and the people who did it also do memorial markers and canvas painting. I can't tell you their name but if you tell your parents you want one they can contact me. I think.

Mamma is also going to try and attach a pic. of me with daddy. It's the weekend so daddy is having a beer and the sun is nice and warm.

Also mamma tells me she's going to get me a micro chip. Apparently there have been some amazing stories on the t.v about us dogs going hundreds of miles and then being found 'cause we can be scanned. Mamma says that'll make her feel a whole lot better. But - i'm not leaving home as why would a king leave his throne!!

It's my birthday today

Hi all of my friends out there. I'm 6 years old today and i'm supposed to be on the birthday scroll but mamma can't find it on the home page!! Anyways i'm in California again - which is better than getting frozen paws in Michigan - you better believe that for a fact. My buddy Oliver from over the road is coming with his family for a happy hour lunchtime today - here any event is celebrated which mamma enjoys and Oliver and i will chill together. Remember i told you about my bro. the one that went to England - well he came to California for Easter and it was soooo good to see him. I went with mamma in her bug convertible to meet him at Palm Springs airport - he wouldn't pet me 'til we got outside - we cocker spaniels do get so excited - if you know what i mean!!!! He went back Thursday and i miss him already. Mamma say's she's going to try and attach a pic. of me with Oliver but she can't guarantee she can do it - mamma needs to learn more computer skills!!

Anyway mamma has to go to her water aerobics class so i'll have to sign off. TTYL Walker

I have new friends!!

Hi you guys out there!

I wasn't going to write until I could tell you all about my fantastic trip to California but the other day mamma got an email from Dogster saying that some dogs wanted to be my friend. Well we checked them out and said yes so now you can see Alexis Anne and Kesha Mae here on my page.

There is just one thing, I think their mamma told them i was a girl like them!! A lot of other humans think I am as well - so Alexis and Kesha can you call me handsome not pretty please.

So like I said mamma is taking me to California on Monday and I'm going to be there for a month. Across the road from our house is a dog called Oliver - I hope he's going to like me! I'll try and send you some holiday pics. when i get back.

how i found heaven on earth

well i was in this pet store in a mall that was lucky to get a handful of people through there in a day. I'm so looking for someone to take me home but i was kindof expensive and so after a couple of months i was still there and then - mamma walked in!!! Of course at that time i didn't know she was going to be mamma - but she bought back daddy and i went into a playpen so they could pet me. I was doing all the right things - i think - i was only four months old so what did i know!! So apparently daddy couldn't commit and it was only when he 'phoned in mamma the next day and she sounded so sad that he said 'ok'. He really tries to please mamma and she said she bought me from her little nest egg. So that's how i came to my wonderful family - i have two human bros. The elder is living in england just now - boy we've had some wonderful adventures - i used to sleep on his bed and he took me to bark park here in michigan which was a lot of fun. My other bro. took me in when mamma and daddy went to california recently. He's at msu and i lived with him and his room mates. They would leave their meals unattended - a big mistake 'cause i just love food!! So this is the beginning of my diary to you guys. I'll keep you updated.
