Leave a bone for Maggie

Nicknames: Magnadoodle, Magatha Maginski, Mrrrgrrr, Maggie-puppy-dawg, Maggie Magoo, Mags

 Quick Bio:
Likes: She likes full, undivided attention from mom and a soup bone all to herself.

Pet-Peeves: strangers, cars driving by, other dogs getting attention from mom, being in the car, thunder, fireworks

Favorite Toy: her bed, a red kong, whatever happens to be lying around when mom gets home

Favorite Food: peanut butter cookies

Favorite Walk: around the yard, or wherever mom is

Best Tricks: I tried to teach her to lie down when she was a puppy with a cheerio treat, but somehow that morphed into her slapping her front paws down on the floor. Now when I say "lie down" she just does the paw slap thing! It's very funny.

Arrival Story: I was vacationing in Homestead, FL...when I saw a puppy on the side of the road. I made my mother stop the car, and Maggie leapt into my arms. Her sister, who was with her, is living in Florida with some friends!

Bio: Maggie's not usually an aggressive dog, but she's VERY protective of me. She LOVES people, and when there are no other dogs around she's an EXTREMELY sweet dog. The only other dogs she tolerates are her brother, Kevin, and my friend's dog, Gretchen.

Forums Motto: Sometimes I pee when I laugh.

This summer has been very stressful for poor little old me. First my mom moves to Massachusetts to go to something called a graduate school (I think it's like obedience school only without the treats), then I have to learn how to live in a suburb instead of the country where I could run free. I also had to get used to living without my little brother, Kevin, hanging around. Though that wasn't so bad...I can actually have bones all to myself now!
I'm staying with my grandma, which is pretty cool. She's awfully nice to me and gives me lots of cookies. And my mom comes to visit every so often. She's not that far away, but she says she misses me terribly. Hopefully when she's done at that graduate school in a year I can go live with her again.
