Hey everyone!!! IT is me Bumper :)

Hello everyone this is Bumper

Well hello to all my friends out there in dogster land ~
I just wanted to tell everyone that i went to the yucky vet today for the first time. I had to go and make sure that my cute little eyes were not infected and it was time for my set of shots. The vet said i sure was a cutie pie and feisty for my size, i take that as a compliment. My mom hated seeing me gets shots because i cried but it was all better when they gave me a treat :) I sure do love to eat!
I was given a clean bill of health but the vet did say that when i get older it would be best if i had both of my eyes removed and my lids shut to prevent infection. Mom doesnt like to think about that because it sounds really painful but if it is what is best for me then mom has no problem doing that if we have to. Last night mom took my foster sister and brother to a nice lady named Anne that is going to take them to A leg up dog rescue and they will find a really good home but mom just couldn't bare the thought of parting with me so she decided to keep me around and i coulndt be any happier,i have sisters to play with and we are spoiled rotten!
Well i am tired from such a ruff day i think i will take a nape.

Guess what?

HEllo everyone it is me Bumper~
Today is wednesday and guess what happened yesturday? my mom went to the pound and got 2 more fosters and boy are they cute!! one is a 4 week old puppy that mom has to bottle feed because she is so small she is part chi and something else but not quite sure what. I put a pic of her above my diary entries so you could see how sweet she is. Her owners dropped her and the mom and dad at the pound :( and the parents were too mean so the shelter had to euthanize them so my mommy took the puppy that she has named Gracie. We also got a foster brother that is a chihuahua,i dont have pics of him up yet but he is a cutie pie!! he was so terrified at the shelter that he hid in the corner trimbling and was supposed to be put to sleep on monday at 4:00. Mom knew that if he got out of the pound he would be a good little doggie,it is so scary there so she called the shelter on monday at 3 and asked if they could keep him alive for one more day so she could get to the pound and they said yes. Boy that was a close one he made it out barely but what a doll! he was just scared. Mom says Gracie is going to go to another rescue group on friday because she needs to take in some other ones that are going to be put to sleep. She wishes she could keep all of us but i guess that is just the way it has to be until she finds a bigger house with lots of land and she is trying to do that right now. Gracie will find great homes with A leg up rescue if you are interested :).
Take care and please remember that even though doggies have a handicap like i do that shouldnt matter,i am perfect in many ways.

"My first full day of freedom"

Hello everyone!
My name is Bumper and i am 8 weeks old. Boy oh boy am i happy to be a free girl! I was at the pound for a week and i would just do circles all day long,i had nowhere to go and since i cant see i kept bumping into the cage crate. One day i heard the shelter talking to a lady about needing to find someone to take me because i would not be adoptable to the public and my foster mommy said she would take me YEAH!! FM took me home and boy did i sleep good that night, as soon as i got to her house i got a bath to get the yucky pound smell off me and then i got to play with my fur friends and run all over the place. I may be blind but FM says that i can get around and fast too! My foster fur friends love on me and Kawiee especially licks on me and tries to mother me until i bite her on her belly and she freaks out :) i know i am a stinker. I slept on mom for a while last night and then she put me in my comfortable crate and i slept all night and then went potty like a good girl this morning. I want to tell the people out there that dont want pets that aren't perfect that FM says that I am perfect! you dont have to have eyes to be perfect. I am a bundle of joy to my FM and everyone who meets me,they keep saying that they cant believe how good i get around for being blind,i just think duh!! i may be blind but i am not stupid.
A Co-worker of my Foster daddy came up with my name because i kept bumping into things :) i think it is cute!!!
I am going to the vet this saturday, mom wants to make sure that i am healthy and dont have any infections in my eyes or anything.
I will keep you all posted!
