Arrival Story:
I was a sophomore in college and was determined to go to the humane society find a black lab puppy. I brought my roommate with me. She spotted a sweet, blond dog that was leaning up against the chain link fence with her paw propped up on one of the links. I had zipped right past her on my way to look at the puppies. My roommate pointed her out to me and I agreed to take her to the viewing area. Well, it wasn't 2 minutes until I fell in love with her. Even at a year old, she was so calm and dignified. To this day her main goal in life is to be petted as much as possible. She has been my faithful companion for 13 years now. **UPDATE** Our beloved Keisha passed away February 3, 2005. As in life, she exited this earth with a calm and beauty and gentleness that those who knew and loved her understand. We are blessed to have had her in our lives. While she will be deeply missed, her spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
