The second he came out, my fiancee looked at him and went, "Yep, this is Brutus." He was the largest of the litter, but he was born last. He continues to be a huge dog, maxing out at 13 pounds! Bio: Brutus is a born clown. Even though heavier and thicker than he should be for his age, he tries to keep up with Athena's amazing acrobatic feats throughout the house. As she leaps from ottoman, to end-table, to the top of her kennel and back again, Brutus tries his hardest to follow, but only gets as far as flopping himself halfway on the ottoman like a poor beached whale! They play a game we have dubbed "Bite My Face" in which they will try to bite each other's open mouth while making angry chipmunk noises. They can do this for almost an hour! It's cute, and they look like Betas when they do it ^^; Apparently, 'Bite my Face' is a family game because he plays it with Echo and Siren, and Echo and Siren play it with each other! ...I'm going back to sleep behind the cold bathtub. [Which is NOTHING like my old cold, cold toilet...]
It all started bad, and went from bad to...badder? Baddest? Anyway- it was bad!
They took the food away! They said that since Athena couldn't have any food, I couldn't have any until she left! Left?! Where was she going!? My food! The precious food! I was sleeping- I didn't know it was a limited time offer! So I slept all night. I can't believe they took the food...
The next morning, mom and dad are up all real early-like. They made breakfast, and then mom started getting Athena ready to go fo a walk. I thought they'd get me afterwards, but they didn't. I bugged dad- usually he's my man- get's me stuff like mom does for Athy, but mom left without me! I howled at the door! It's not fair that she got to go on a walk and not me!
Dad got on the talkey-thing [cell-phone?] and afterwards he took me outside. YES! It was SNOWING! I pulled dad all over the yard, trying to eat snow, and running over to play with Bonnie, who was out on a lead. Suddenly, I remembered that Athena and mom went for a walk- I went and drug dad down the street a ways, but couldn't see them. Dad went and decided to take me inside at that point.
Maybe Athena and mom came back while we were out. I went looking for them- up and down the hallway, the bathroom, the bedroom, the kitchen- nothing! I had to know where my sister was! I always know where she is! I have to know what she's doing, all the time! It's my job or something! She'll get better treats if I don't! Ahhhhhhhhh!
Finally, I gave up and went to sleep. Mom came back and I got all excited- but she didn't have Athy! I was so confused. I went to bed to sleep on it, and mom left and came back again, without my sister. I howled at her- where was she!?
Hey, wait...I smelt...food! Yummy human food! Mom and dad had gotten something called 'Dairy Queen', and I wanted some! It smelt totally yummy! I sat very nicly at mom and dad's feet like I was taught [all patient -like and such] and they gave me some little pieces. It was yummy, but afterwards, I remembered that Athy was gone.
I went and laid down again, all sad. Where was my sister? Mom and dad had said something about 'surgery', whatever that meant. [Silly human words...] Soon mom got up and left again. Was she FINALLY going to bring Athena home?
A while later, mom did come back with Athena! I was so happy! I jumped around her, even though she looked sleepy and grumpy and her nose looked different. She told me she just wanted to eat and sleep for a while, but I wanted to be with her! I missed her! Mom and dad scolded me for bugging her, so i'm trying to be good and let her rest. I guess 'surgery' is really tiring.
I don't wanna do this. I mean, I do- I wanna hit the clackeys, but I don't wanna talk too much. I have soda cans to get into, toilets to sleep next to- things to DO, man!
If you wanna hear how we got out last Saturday, then read my sister's diary. She typed up a nice long chunk about it. I would give my view, but....I'm lazy. Well, right now I am!

As for me, Dad went to bed without explaining to us what he was doing, even thought Mom REMINDED him to do it or we would be mad! He didn't tell us what he was doing going in the bedroom where we are not allowed, and so Athy and I thought he abandoned us! So we got mad and tore up the potty pad, and dragged it into the living room. Hah! That'll show HIM!
