Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:

Barking at the cats (their food smells better than mine) walking in the woods with my friends

Lately my pet peeve is squirrels. What is up with them? They are small and grey like me, but they are NOT like me. They won't play and I cannot catch one.

Favorite Toy:
Any cardboard object I can get my teeth on, and the occaissional carelessly tossed aside shoe.

Favorite Food:
We eat EVERYTHING but are particularly fond of stew juice.

Favorite Walk:
My mom takes to me this park where we can run around without a leash and I get to see and smell other dogs and run and run and run. It is the BEST.

Best Tricks:
I am a champion fetcher, and my humans are considering agility training so that my spazzy bouncing nature has some focus!

Arrival Story:
Conceived by accident, loved on purpose.

It's been a looooooong year since that kid came home

I used to be the beloved first born child. I was an only child. Then Buster joined us, along with Bob, and that was fine. Then they went and got me Poncho to hang with, and that worked out pretty well too, we are best buddies now. But then they brought that kid home. Cooper (said like Jerry Seinfeld says "Newman"). It has been a year now, and that kid is still here. He gets all the cool toys, all the attention, all the good food. Although he is being pretty generous with the cheerios, and the occasional banana, we will give him that. But he is there, taunting me. They won't let me wrestle with him like I do with Buster and Poncho. I mean, if you can't wrestle and chew on someone's paws, what is the point? Now he has blocks. Delicious, wooden blocks. And once again, I am not allowed to touch them. Oh, I get one every so often, but not for long. Mom is REALLY fast at figuring out I have an illicit toy. And that monkey. He has a stuffed MONKEY. For the love of all that is tasty and squishy, I WANT THAT MONKEY. It will be mine. I had it out on the pool cover once, but again, Mom found it before I could truly make it mine. It is my life goal now. A schnauzer has to have a dream.

Oh Baby

Oh no. First mom and dad brought home this new guy, Poncho, and well, he turned out to be my best friend in the whole world, but he is an attention hog and seriously jealous about me getting any loving from mom or dad. Now they tell us there is going to be a BABY in the house. A hairless puppy who cannot play with me for YEARS???? What is that all about. There are quite a few of these creatures on our street, and they make me so crazy I have to bark and bark and bark at them. Mom says I have to get over that for when our baby comes home. HA I say. I am a schnauzer, barking is what I do. So there.

I have a brother

So mom and dad got me a puppy. Can you believe it? My very own puppy. His name is Poncho, and we are related. He is my brother, from a different litter. He is all black, with a white spot on his chest, which is not as stylin' as my salt and pepper hair do, but he is still a handsome boy. We play constantly. I finally have something else to chew on besides mom and dads reading glasses and stuff. Awesome. He is showing me up a bit, he will actually do a number 2 in the yard. Everyone knows you should never do that in your own yard, you have to do it in other people's yards. Sheesh.
