I eat Chicken Soup for the Puppie's Soul and I like dried chicken bits - and CARROTS! I love anything mommy or daddy's eating too.

Sit, lay down, stay, shake, high five, throw stay, "go in your kennel," "go to your bed," standing on my hind legs.
Arrival Story:
Mommy and daddy have wanted a doggie for a very long time. Mommy went to shelters and searched online for months and months to find the perfect doggie. But she couldn't find the ONE. But as fate would have it, I came along! Mommy and daddy's friends told them that the person who owned me at the time couldn't take care of me and needed to give me a good home. On October 16, 2005, I was first introduced to my new home and lived happily ever after.
Bio:
Mommy & daddy named me after Gromit from Wallace & Gromit (of course!) the claymation. Go see the movie! I LOVE strangers - I need EVERYONE to love me! I'm not too fond of the ocean, but I love the beach and eating kelp and not listening to my mommy. I also love to pounce and play in the grass and rip it up while I'm dancing about. I am a total lap doggie - I love to be held and sit on your lap. I love licking faces and chewing on anything that looks good. I love anything plush and love to rip things apart. Mommy gives me so many toys to play with so I always have something good to chew on other than her sandals (which I killed!) and daddy's socks.

I am now ONE! Mommy bought stuff to make me a birthday cake - with wheat and gluten free flour! And she got me a party hat (which I'm not too thrilled about). She says she's going to take me to the dog park, then a walk on the beach (maybe!) and some baking time for meeee!! She also tells me she got me a special dinner, so we'll see what it is! YAY!!

So after going to the vet, they decided that I must have some sort of allergy. Either food or environmental, so mommy's putting me on a restricted diet of JUST my dog food, no treats except for pure chicken disks and jerky. They gave me antihistimine and I'm currently passed out right now from it! They wanted to do some expensive tests on me, but mommy didn't want to do that just yet. She's going to try a diet through a process of elimination and some antihistimines. Hopefully it'll make me itch less and feel better! :) They also wanted to feed me Hill's Prescription Diet Z/D, which listed STARCH as it's first ingredient! Mom was appauled. How could they allow such a diet for ANYONE? She's going to figure out what's wrong with my allergies on her own!

Mommy says she's taking me to the vet tomorrow! Normally pets hate the vet, but I love meeting all the other doggies and being petted and paid attention to! Mommy's taking me because I itch a lot (especially under my chin) and my eyes get goopy. She also figured that I needed to get checked for heartowrms again so I can go an preventative. Plus mommy's noticed my stool has been a little soft lately, so they're probably going to do a fecal exam. Mommy's scared of the bill though - she took Moochie in today and it was more than she expected. But she says if it keeps us healthy! :)
