Arrival Story:
Our other Basset, Johnny, really needed a buddy who was like him and someone to keep him company during the day when we were at work. We found Angie and it was love at first sight. We couldn't wait to get her home where Johnny welcomed her with open paws.

3/10/06 - So my Mommy and Daddy are buying me a house. Since they are good parents (or more like slaves) I'm going to let them live there with me. And of course I'm bringing hubby Johnny and brother Billy. There will be a nice backyard so I can run after them (and hopefully squirrels too!) all day long. I hope they give me a room just for myself - Perhaps I can takes Mommy's office as my room and charge her rent to use it. Rent could be paid in treats, park walks, or just letting me bite her and make her scream like a 2 year old. Oh boy, I can't wait to move!

3/11/06 - Mommy started packing today, which of course I helped. She likes to play this silly game called, "You are getting in my way." How could I be getting in the way when I'm so helpful. I stick my nose in everything and make sure we don't bring anything we don't need. She should be really thankful I went to the closet with her - I caught a wild pig! My mommy said it was Piglet from Winnie the Pooh, whatever that means - I just know I caught it! I'll eat it later when we take a break from all this work.
