We don't really go for walks, however she loves to run in the backyard. We have a wonderfully huge backyard that she and our son play fetch in.

Arrival Story:
We were headed to Illinois on a shopping trip, but instead we stopped at a flea market. A farmer from Northern Wisconsin had a litter of "opps puppies" and I fell in love. She was on hold by another couple so I convinced my husband to wait with me until their time limit was up. The second their time was up I paid for her and took her home. That was on July 3, 2005. She slept in my pocket all day on the fourth at my Mom's party.

I love the Christmas season, all the lights and shopping...More importantly remembering why we celebrate Christmas.
I pray that 2008 will be a blessed year for all. Remember to give respect, take a rest, and you will pass all of life's tests.

Daisy is such a great girl! She has been coming to work with me at Pawprints Across Your Heart in Greendale, WI. She loves coming with me to play with the dogs and kids that come into the store. I am thankful to have a boss that lets me bring Daisy and even my son with me to work. The store is stocked full of such cool stuff that Daisy has become very spoiled. LOL

Our little puppy girl is maturing so well and has gotten tall. She is almost completely over her "hand issues". It is so cute you can actually see her stop and think, "Now what should I do bite or lick? Oh yes lick, lick, lick..." Daisy will actually protect the remote for me when I get up off the couch! She immediately lays on it or next to it and if someone tries to take it she covers it with her paw and lays her head on it. It is the cutest thing. Daisy has been bummed lately because Oliver (see diary entry) has been sick and not wanting to play, after a few minutes of trying to get him to play she'll plop down next to him with a huge sigh and just stare at him until he gets up and plays with her. Fortunately everyday she is waiting less and less as Oliver gets better.
