   Leave a bone for Arnold

Nicknames:
Narnie, per my step-daughter, Arnie, per my step-son, and Numbnut, per my husband. (I just call him my baby.) Oh, I almost forgot one... when I have not gotten out to clean his poo, we call him Mr. Poopy-Paws. Yep, gross.

Likes:
Our house is very old, and all of the rooms upstairs connect in a circle. Arnold LOVES to run around the upstairs and be chased! He stops about halfway and tries to trick me!

Pet-Peeves:
He HATES having his back paws grabbed... and having his toenails clipped, which accounts for one of his pics with the nails in the dead of winter!

Favorite Toy:
Arnold pretty much demolishes any toy he gets, so he loves his bones.

Favorite Food:
When we fix hamburgers, we always fix him a small one as well. He loves it! Oh yeah, and marshmallows... he LOVES marshmallows! (No, he is not pregnant.)

Favorite Walk:
We normally take about a three-mile walk around the neighborhood, and he acts like it is the first time we have walked EVERY time.

Best Tricks:
My husband has taught Arnold to twirl around on his back legs, and he also takes treats out of my mouth very gently. (I know, gross, but it is pretty cute!)

Arrival Story:
My husband and I were at a flea market a few years ago and a guy was selling pups from a wagon. We just fell in love with him. When we took him to the vet for a check-up, the vet said that he was probably too young to take from him mom, but so be it. Well, my husband worked nights at the time and I had never had a dog before. My husband said to just keep Arnold in his kennel and he will be fine. Lo and behold, Arnold barked ALL NIGHT! The next night, same thing. By the third night, I was getting nooo sleep, so I finally let him up in bed with me and it was all over from there. He still sleeps in bed, under the covers, right next to me. It has gotten to the point where I cannot sleep unless he is there.

Bio:
I have never loved an animal like Arnold... he is absolutely wonderful! And I never thought you could see love in an animals eyes, but I see it every day. He is great!
