Arrival Story:
Amber was brought into an Emergency Veterinary clinic where I worked for awhile. She was brought in near death after being "attacked" by another dog. The "owners" never returned for her and she became property of the animal clinic. After two months of her living in a run at the clinic, I decided to take her to my house for a day and let her run in a fenced yard, feel the sun on her skin, and the wind in her hair. Needless to say she never made it back to the clinic.

Bio:
Amber is a very sweet and loving dog, but due to her breed I knew that there was a slim chance of her being adopted. I take pride in knowing that she has a wonderful home. She is great with my other pets (2 dogs and a crazy cat). My son adores her and often uses her as a pillow when they are laying on the floor watching tv. She keeps a concerned eye on my baby daughter and is quick to be right there with me to see what's wrong when the baby cries. For all the closed minded people that think all Pitbulls and Amstaffs are "killers" - You're missing out on some wonderful dogs
