Arrival Story: This cheeky little chihuahua lives with a Toronto actress who truly believes that her doggie has what it takes to make it in the competitive world of 'dogbiz'. China was part of a litter being sold as a fundraiser for an animal charity in Toronto and it was love at first bite, oops, sight. In four years, she's gone from one to five pounds and has blossomed into a confident, feisty busybody who can literally stop traffic with her distinctive bow legged strut and fire red boots which we reserve for special occasions.

China gets immense joy from simple things like a stranger's pat or a mid-afternoon snack of baby carrots and can best be described as a sociable dog who loves people with a passion. This winning personality has earned her a host of fans from the clerks at the video store to the local butcher who always spoil her with a treat-to-go. Trips on the TTC and to non-doggy zones like the cinema have been a regular part of her routine since she was eight weeks old since she is quiet and well behaved. China absolutely thrives on attention and is at her very best when she is out and about.
