Popeye loves to be outside. Before he was rescued, he spent all his time cooped up in a cage...now he take advantage of anytime he can get outside in the fresh air and sunshine

Pet-Peeves:
He's not too keen on going outside when it's raining or really cold. Other than that, he's pretty mild mannered and just soaks up life!

Favorite Toy:
His favorite toy is the torso of a stuffed Cat in the Hat doll that Popeye and Sweetnees destroyed...it was not meant to be a dog toy, but that's about all it's good for now!

Favorite Food:
Popeye loves all food equally, with the exception of lettuce which is the only food I have found that he won't eat.

Favorite Walk:
Sycamore Dog Park or a good walk around the neighborhood

Arrival Story:
I found Popeye on Petfinder.com and the fabulous people at Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue decided that I could be the one to give him a forever home. In his former life, Popeye was a used as a stud at a puppy mill in Missouri. For whatever reason (presumably his eyes) the breeder decided to give him up and he ended up with the Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue. I drove four hours to Michigan to pick up him...the drive was definitely worth it. He's wonderful and continues to make socialization progress everyday!
