My new friends!

Grammy has taken me over to our neighbor's yard a couple times (she's home in the afternoon) to play with their two doggies. Yesterday Mommy got to go with me, and I asked her to write about it today.

First of all, on Saturday my mommy, grammy and pappy were away all day. They said they went to Washington, D.C. I've never been there, but they said it was fun, but I couldn't go. My Uncle Brad came over to check on me, and I was a good girl. Mommy had given me a peanut butter flavored natural bone (which she said is smelly) before they left early in the morning. It was gone by the time Uncle Brad stopped by. Then he gave me a busy bone (which mommy left for him to give to me on the table), and after I hid it Uncle Brad put it in my crate with me. Oh well, I ate that too. Mommy, Grammy and Pappy came home late, and we didn't stay awake too long.

So, yesterday Mommy said she wanted to make up for Saturday and let me stay outside almost all day yesterday! It was a little hot sometimes, but it was breezy. She brought some of my toys out, and she sat on the porch step and did her nails and played with me. We went in for lunch, and then came outside again. Then my neighbor doggies came out. I saw them right away and started crying for Mommy to take me over there to play. Grammy was outside too, and we all went over. Mommy thought it was cute how we were playing together. My neighbor doggies are Sam and April. They're both West Highland Terriers (my mommy says Westies). They just got their hairs cut and look cute and so alike! Sam is 4 years old, and April is 3 years old. April likes to play alot, Sam doesn't always like to play but he did yesterday! Right after we all came over he peed on his mommy's leg! I guess he wanted to make sure that Mommy and Grammy didn't do anything to her. I didn't pee on my mommy's leg though. We played for almost 2 hours or so when Grammy came back over (she had to make dinner - which I didn't get any of). She brought Cousin Peanut! Cousin Peanut didn't come in the yard though. She was barking at all three of us in the yard. Mommy picked me up and then we went back to our house. I had so much fun playing with Sam and April! I hope I can go over again soon! I was so tired last night! I started falling asleep around 7pm! I usually don't get sleepy until about 8 or 8:30! Can't wait to play again!

Jolly Jugs!

Mommy started a new group for other dogs like me called Jugs! I'm so excited to meet doggies just like me! YAY! I hope some live near where I do!

Vet

Mommy took me to the vet early in the morning two Tuesdays ago. Sorry I didn't mention this earlier, but I was tired alot afterwards, and didn't get do this. She dropped me off before she went to work, and picked me up later that night. They gave me some medicine in a needle (I don't like needles - and was looking for Mommy when they did this, but she wasn't there). I fell asleep and when I woke up I was super tired. Mommy picked me up then and I was so happy to see her! I clung to her - I didn't want her to let me go. I slept all that night and didn't play or eat or drink! Mommy also put this plastic cone thing on my head which I didn't like at all! Mommy took it off when I gave her a sad look and she said it would stay off if I didn't go after my sutures. I don't know what sutures are, but I am glad she took the cone thing off! The next day she gave me a half spoonful of peanut butter with a weird tasting hard thing in it. She said it was medicine to help me with any pain I had. I didn't have any pain, but there was peanut butter so I licked it all up! She stayed home with me, and I was so happy! The cone thing stayed off, so I was even happier! I slept alot, but did eat and drink that day. Mommy was happy about that. She kept giving me the medicine in peanut butter for a couple days. I actually miss having the peanut butter now. This morning my mommy told me that today was the last day I'll have to wear that cone thing while everyone is at work because my sutures come out tonight. I'm happy I won't have to wear this cone thing again, but I don't like going to the vet anymore, I hope no one gives me anything that hurts. Mommy said I'll be okay, but I hope she's right! She put my teddy, who she calls my "hump buddy" away this past week and a half, so I hope I get that back! I miss him! Happy St. Patrick's Day to all the doggies of the world!

Snow!

Wow! We got 12" of snow this weekend! I had so much fun outside!! Mommy shoveled an area for me again, I don't understand why. I love going in the snow! I can walk on top of some of the snow, but sometimes I fall through because it's not all hard snow. Oh well, I dry off when I go in the house, and Mommy makes sure I'm not outside too long so I don't start shivering. I hope this snow stays around for awhile since I love playing in it so much!

Mommy's Family

Last night I went with Mommy to her Grammy's house (my great-grammy) and her aunt's and uncles and cousins were there for her one uncles birthday. I didn't get to meet everyone yet, boy was I excited! I didn't know who to say hi to first, I just kept running back and forth saying hi to everyone. It was so fun! Mommy gave me some baby carrots, which I really liked. Her uncle Eddie gave me a small round fastnacht, and mommy wasn't happy but it was very tasty! Everyone kept saying I was so cute, and so rammy. It was a lot of fun! And when we went home Cousin Peanut was there! She still doesn't want to play with me like Brother Bear does. I hope she wants to play with me soon. I really want to play with her.

Christmas

I had such a fun and happy Christmas! I got a lot of new toys, and some yummy bones and treats. I kept hiding my greenies and bones I was given. I like to hide them for later. Mommy didn't work for 11 days! She was off so we spent all day together. That was alot of fun. I love my mommy! I got to play with my big brother Bear a couple days. That was fun. I also got to meet my step-human sister Gina. She thought I was so cute, and kept holding me. I don't mind kids at all. I like kids. I was very good when she was holding me. I'm still working on the potty-training. Mommy can tell when I need to go out, but I have to work on letting everyone know so I don't go in the house. I'll get better, I just need some time.

Santa

Mommy and Daddy took me to see Santa last Sunday! I was excited because there were so many other doggies there. There was another doggie that had a santa hat too! Mommy and Daddy got their picture taken with me. I had a santa hat on and a bell scrunchie thing around my neck. It wasn't bad. Mommy only kept it on me for the picture. She said she's gonna put the picture on dogster, but has to scan it first. I was so good with Santa too! I didn't bite him at all, which Mommy was worried about. I didn't lose all my baby teeth yet so I bite everything. I can't wait for Christmas! Happy Holidays to all the doggies out there!

Brother Bear

I got to meet my older step-brother Bear yesterday! He is so big! I wasn't nervous when I met him or anything, just wanted to play, and he did! I was so happy he played with me. I think he got tired because I kept wanting to play. I also liked his tail, and kept trying to bite it. He is a very nice big brother. We fell asleep last night on his bed. I only took up a little space. I'm glad I have a big brother that likes me and plays with me. I was very tired after playing all day yesterday.

This weekend

On Saturday morning my mommy took me to see my new doctor, Dr. BeBe. She was very nice. She had to take my temperature and give me medicine in my nose, but otherwise it wasn't bad. I was sleepy so I slept through most of the appointment. Mommy said I was such a good girl she took me to the pet store for a new toy (like I don't have enough already). A lot of people thought I was cute and came up and said hi. There were so many other doggies there I was so excited! I wanted to be on the floor and play with them, but mommy kept holding me because she said something about a dog flu? Oh well, it was still fun, and I fell asleep there too. We then stopped at my Great-grammy and pappy's house. They thought I was cute too, and gave me hugs and kisses. I was happy when we got home, time for more naps.
On Sunday I got to meet my cousin Peanut. I went up to her to say hi, but she ran away from me! She ran up on the couch, and I can't jump on the couch yet. I wanted to play with her so bad, but she didn't come near me. She barked and snapped at me a few times, and she got yelled at by Mommy, Aunt Cortney and Uncle Berto. I don't know why she was barking at me, I just wanted to play. It was fun though, and I was so sleepy again. Mommy and I took a few naps together this weekend. I'm so glad she doesn't work on the weekend. She played with me all day!

New Home

Yesterday I got a new mommy and a new home. I miss my two brothers, but love my new mommy and her family. My daddy was there with mommy when she got me, but daddy had to go to his home with my new step-brother Bear. I went to her work and met alot of the people she works with. I was scared, but mommy kept petting me and giving me kisses. I even fell asleep on her, I was so tired. After that we went to get my puppy food, and mommy bought me 2 new toys (the ones she got were too big she told me) and she bought me a warm sweater. I then got to meet my Aunt Cortney. Everyone thought I was so cute. We went home then and I finally got to meet Grammy and Pappy. They had fun with me and played. Mommy took me outside for me to go potty but I didn't want to. It's warmer inside, I'd rather pee there. Mommy keeps telling me no when I do that. I don't like when she says that. I have to work on that. I cried a little last night when Mommy put me in my crate. I was asleep at first but woke up two times during the night and cried. Mommy didn't come so I went back to bed. We played this morning before she had to go to work. She made me fall asleep again before she left. I'm by myself until Grammy comes home from work. I can't wait until everyone comes home from work so I can play with them!
