Arrival Story:
Max's original owners brought him into the vet clinic to have him put to sleep because he "wouldn't come in when called" ~eyes rolling now~ so he was kinda ugly, just weird looking - and he smelled of fresh skunk - so I fell in love with the pitiful soul that was Maxwell (well he was Buster, as they called him, but he wouldn't answer to that) he did have a record - he killed a couple of kitties - see if I had him from the start that would have never happened...After a tomato juice bath, he came home to live with us.

Bio:
Actually he was a realy cur dog at first - because his owners had not trained him in a humane way - he was always trying to run away. After he figured out he'd get good eats and a nice soft bed and his own human lady, he straightened out. And he was homely and yet managed to blossom into a beautiful dog with a gorgeous coat, big silly stand up ears...and a distinct voice. Too bad about the bone cancer. Cancer sucks. We think it came about due to small fractures in his legs from being beaten by the previous owners. People can suck too.
