My Mom Finally Came Around!!

I'm All Moved In Now!!

I have finally adjusted completely to being in SB full time. My Mom and Dad are both here and we even have a schedule. I've learned to follow the bathroom schedule to perfection and even fit in some playtime everyday. I still harass once in awhile at strange hours in the the morning to go for a walk, but it's only because I love to be out and smell flowers and see other dogs walking around. I have a friend down the street and she is named Maggie too!! She's a lab and she leans over the fence and licks my face whenever I walk by her house. The UPS guy also likes me and gives me a little tiny, I mean tiny, treat whenever he sees me. :)
My parents work all the time and I have the place to myself alot. I sleep alot, and I don't usually feel like getting into the trash... only about once a month do I get the urge. I get in trouble, but hey, it's worth it.
I live to go to Tucker's Grove park where I'm allowed to run off-leash with other dogs, and also to the beach where I can get wet and nasty and no one cares! My Mom got me on a grooming schedule with a place down the road and I hate going, but I look much better once I come out of there. That's all the news for now! Woof!!

My life as a traveling dog.

I have been very busy and I don't have time to do much of anything anymore because my parents are always taking me from place to place!! My Dad takes me to the mountains to live for a week at a time sometimes and it's cold there so I like it. I get to chase cats and racoons and visit with all the locals. I don't even have to go to the bathroom on a leash when I'm up there.
I am adjusting to my new home in Santa Barbara. I've mastered walking around the block on a leash, but I still can't control my urge to attack it on the way through the parking lot. My mom hates this, but I don't care and I'm out of control everytime I hed back home from a walk. Santa Barbara locals love me, and I can't go anywhere without causing a social disturbance! I went to the Mission around Christmas and there were 2 other Saints there!! I also saw a goat and a burro, and for some reason they scared me, even though I was the same size!
So, life is good. My mom is getting ready to go back to school and my Dad is going to be working a new job, so I am going to be spending alot of time sleeping on the couch. Don't worry, I'll act like I wasn't on it when they get home... I always do!! :) :)

Road Dog

I have recently become a road dog!! My Mom is in Santa Barbara full time, and my Dad is back and forth throughout the week. This is great for me because I LOVE to go for a RIDE!!!! I get the lake and the beach, and I already got to bring a tick in the new apartment!!
Life is good... except for last week... I ate a Whopper and got really sick. I pooped in my Dad's truck and it was embarrassing, but it had to happen. No more people food for me.... ever. :)
