My parents already had my sister Tyler, but she was driving them crazy! They thought she needed a friend to play with, so they looked on Petfinder for another Cairn terrier. I was originally listed as the wrong breed, so they didn't pay any attention, but when my foster people changed it to Cairn/Yorkie on the site, my parents took notice! They filled out the application and my mom picked me up the next day. I didn't get along well with my sister for the first week, but from then on we have been the best of friends!
Bio:
I am very snuggly and lovable. I miss my parents when they go to work, so I have to be extra nice when they are around! I love it when Mom takes me to school with her (she's a teacher) and I get to meet all of her nice students!

For some reason, I always get in a "writing" kind of mood and write an entry here on Dogster for my birthday. I guess it's kind of a tradition now.
It's hard to believe I've reached 10 years old today! How exciting!
Even MORE exciting, is that as I type this the lawn guys are here to mow our lawn! I get to bark and carry on like a fool! Oh, the joys of being a dog!
In fact, I have to go. They are getting out the leaf blower!

Woof woof woof! Today I turn 9 years old! Mom had to go back to work today after being home all summer (she's a teacher), but I got a bone as soon as she got home. What a treat!
It's hard to believe it has been two years since I've written in my diary, but I have been very busy chasing squirrels, catching bunnies, and going to walks. Oh, and I got my teeth cleaned last month, so now I have pearly whites again! All the better to bite you with, my bunny!
My brother, Darwin, and my sister, Tyler, have been doing just fine. I am proud to say that I am the oldest, although I am probably the bounciest, too! I don't feel like I'm 9... maybe 5? (The independence of being potty trained with the youthful glee of a youngin'!)

Today is my 7th birthday! Time for another update on dogster...
Well, for my birthday I got to run around the house a TON this morning and play with a neat stuffed koala bear. I don't know where he came from, but he's soft and fun to bite. I am hoping that I will get a special surprise for dinner tonight, too. Maybe some watermelon or some vanilla yogurt? I LOVE yogurt, almost as much as I like steak. Perhaps they should invent steak flavored yogurt. Now THAT would be tasty!
Anyway, my sister Tyler is asking to go outside, so I think I'll end this entry and go join her. Darwin, my brother, is sleeping in the window... booorrriing!
