He picked us when we visited a breeder in Chicago.

Bio:
On May 12th 2004, Kirby broke he knee jumping out of the car window. He stepped on the electric window button, rolled it down and jumped, before he could be stopped. He has two pins in his knee and one sticking out of his hip that will be removed later. He was buckled in the backseat, I still don't know how he got loose. That is how he got the nick name peg-leg puppy. June 9th two pins removed and the cast taken off. July 2nd scheduled surgery for remaining pin to be removed. While he is under anesthesia they will do range of motion on his knee, he has calcium deposits, this will break them loose. Hopefully that will give him more motion. The pin is keeping it from full flex now. Wish us luck. UPDATE: All is well. Other than a scar you'd never know it happened.
