Arrival Story:
Update as of 11/29/05: Perry is still available for adoption and the two families that were initially interested might have changed their mind; how could they?? he is so adorable. But we keep on waiting. Update as of 11/08/05: Frank got adopted yesterday!!!!! to a wonderful home in Auburn with a big yard and lots of running!!! Thank you! Frank & Perry just came living with us last Friday. We are fostering them for the Northern California Border Collie Rescue Organization and Frank & Perry will stay with us until we find a forever home for them. Our 1-year old BC mix Jersey came from the same organization, and when our 13-year old Malamute, Dakota, died a while ago, we thought that we had some extra dog-love capacity and decided to take-in foster dogs. Frank & Perry are out first ones and we know we will have a hard time to give them up to their new homes. They are soooo adorable!!

Update as of 01/05/06: I got adopted today!!!! by Melissa and I am sooo happy! I'm gonna live in Morgan Hill and I will have a doggie friend there!!! Thank you Melissa!! Update as of 11/29/05: Little Perry is not so little anymore! He is now 3 months old and keeps on growing. He currently weighs about 27 pounds and will most likely be a big boy with at least 60 pounds when fully grown. He is very sweet and calm and seems like the perfect dog for a family that has never had a dog before. He just enjoys being with you and chase a ball once in a while. Perry loves his doggie siblings and would love to have another dog with his new family for company, but this is not a must. He is a little timid at first when he is confronted with new situations or new people, but warms up quickly. He walks nicely on leash and follows you everywhere. He sleeps happily in his crate all through the night and we haven't had an accident in the house for a couple of weeks. We call him our "Little Man"! O.k. they are THE CUTEST PUPS EVER!! Omegod: Frank & Perry are such lovers; they are now (10/31/05) about 10 weeks old. They like to cuddle with you and falls asleep in your lap. But they are also very adventurous and try to investigate everything. They just learnt to play tug-of-war, their new most favourite game and chase big (step-)sister Jersey around the house. They sleep happily in their crate during the night and we only have to get up once per night to let them out. They are almost house trained and we have had only a few accidents so far. Frank & Perry are great with other dogs and love people. Although they are curious little fellows, they are rather calm and can be easily trained because both are very food motivated. Neither of them seems to be very dominant and easily lay on their back for you.....until they want to go back play. Both respect eachother and the other pack members and are learning to read their doggy language. Perry and Frank would be wonderful pups for a family that want to spend lots of time with them. They need to be adopted separately. If you are intersted in adopting Perry or Frank, please e-mail your request to or visit the Rescue Site @ or search for them in

No Lunch

I can't believe it: mom didn't come home for lunch today!! and I had to wait until 4 pm until I got a cookie. Just a cookie!! Usually, I get a full meal for lunch!!
Well, I heard that she's pretty busy right now and that I'm a big boy now and that I could survive a lunch once in a while without lunch occasionally. And who asked me???

Anyways. When she came home, we played with the ball for a while and then daddy came home and then mom took me for a ride in the car. I like the car now but I didn't know where we were going. But I found out soon: we went to this place that smells really good of food and there were lots of toys and I got some cookies. I didn't want to take the cookies from that stranger at first, but then mom told me that it's o.k. and I took it and it was really good. Mom bought lots of stuff: huge bully sticks and Greenies and a stuffed Snowman!

And when we got back home I finlly got my dinner and then we were allowed to play with the stuffed snowman. Well....Jersey basically took it and didn't wanna give it up anymore. And then she unstuffed it and there was stuffing all over the place. And then mom had to clean it up because she found a leak in the gas pipe outside and the guy from PGE had to come to fix it and we didn't want him to see our mess. Well, Jersey's mess.

And then I went to do my favourite thing: sleep on the couch. And that's where I am still at.

Over and out,
