Pet-Peeves: When Mommy and Daddy don't throw the frizzbe & people who don't believe the muffinator is a daschie
Favorite Toy: Ribbit Frog & Frizzbe
Arrival Story: Chad came to us when he was 4 weeks old and was a tiny little boy. We tried to find him a loving home and quickly realized that he already had one! Chad grew up as a daschie and regardless of his size will always be!
Bio: Chad-Muffin passed away quickly one evening. He was playful and energetic until one afternoon this summer when he became dreadfully ill. We immediatley rushed him to the emergency room where the Dr thought he might just be dehydrated. We left him for IV fluid to pick him up in a few hours to come home for the night. The Dr called to tell us that he had perked up and was getting back to normal. She had run test to find that he had an extremely high white blood cell count. She felt that there was definately something wrong but we could better determine a treatment after he was better hydrated. Just as we were getting ready to go pick our baby up the vet called again to let us know that he had began to have very labored breathing and that she would like to keep an eye on him for a bit longer. Before she could finish explaining to me what was going on he had stopped breathing and we got off the phone so that she could work on him. We rushed to the vets office but it was to late. My big baby was gone. It still does not seem real to us. He was so loved and is missed horribly.
