Arrival Story:
I went on petfinder.com to look for a Sheltie. I was looking for a much younger one but I fell in love with her by her picture. I filled out the papers to be approved and when the foster mom brought her to our house I asked her to bring another Sheltie that I was interested in also. I just liked Cait right away. She is beautiful and very friendly. She doesn't bark but can bark and she is calm and good with other dogs and people. She was adopted by us on Sept 9, 2005

Bio:
Cait was originally named Paris by her foster mom. She was found as a stray so not much is known about her. She has definitely had litters of puppies. She had a hernia which we took her to have surgery for. She is used to having other dogs around but doesn't know how to play. She doesn't know how to play with toys. I took her to basic obedience so that I could work on training her with other distractions for Therapy Dog work. She took the test on April 23, 2006 and passed. She goes to nursing homes for visits with myself and my other dog Kira. She is now a TDIRVA(250 visits). Cait went to the Rainbow Bridge 09/09/08.
