Favorite Toy:
Rocks, jolly ball, tennis balls you could watch her smile when she's play ball in the driveway

Favorite Food:
mashed potatoes, steak , chicken, pork, well now that I think about it.....just about anything except lettuce- including Blueberries and raisins and watermelon too !!

Favorite Walk:
through the woods- trails, the beach!!!!!!!!!!

Best Tricks:
she would talk to you -almost cry when you came home - She could open any door in the house and also she could get out of her crate!!

Arrival Story:
She ran under the van that the breeder had parked in the driveway-she was my husband's first dog- he called her out and she whacked her head under the van and took 1/2" stip of fur off of her forhead- later she ran right under his feet and he stepped on her- we joked the breeder that we had to take her because he broke her .....(Hence the name Gracie) Additionally she was 'slightly' cross-eyed.......... Gracie had about as much GRACE as her mom does........... She was an absolute klutz. 8D

When we finished buidling this home, Don and I decided to take a weekend with my sister and brother in law. Don's sister and her daughter would stay for the weekend to watch the dogs..... Gracie could open every door in the house and when my sister in law came into the garage, Grace took off . We got to the hotel and called to give them the phone number.....found out she was missing and came right back home....... She was lost for 5 days we posted her picture everywhere literally thousands of them....... Finally we received a call at 4:30 am that she had been spotted.....Over 2 hours later trudging through the snow and ice, we tracked her through the woods.....Thank God we got her in time !! We took her home safe, sound and starving. She had over 60 ticks on her.....ick. One of the best teachers I have EVER had in my life- sweet as pie............and God you are in the great company of my leedle gurl....GracieGrace..........I miss you......keep close to your big brother- - Dublin ..........he will keep you and protect you as I did........ I miss you both so bad sometimes........sleep you There isn't a day that passes that I regret her passing and I miss her so badly. But somehow I know Don misses her more. She was one of the best teachers I ever had.
