I'm the smart one!

I have a new playmate

We have a human baby at our house now. She is mom's grandaughter, so does that make me her uncle? Her name is Olivia and she is very cute. She makes funny noises and chases me in her walker. I love to sit under her hi chair when she is eating. She throws yummy treats to me. She loves to pull my hair. I don't mind, but Zoe nearly jumped through the roof when she grabbed her tail last night. It was really funny. I think we are going to be best friends.

I'm the smart one....

and the calm one, and the sweet one, and of course, the beautiful one. That's what dad says about me. I shine in comparison to my sister Zoe - all she wants to do is run and run and run and run and run - you get the idea! And I really shine compared to my snarky little bro Shimmer. Talk about a whiner - he is the world's record holder for whining - he has to be. If he is inside, he whines to go out; if he is outside he whines to come in. Mom has been watching a show about a man that whispers to dogs. She thought it might help her tame Shimmer. Well, she is at least trying. We have been going walking as a "pack" very early every morning before she goes to work. I must admit I am a very good walker, but you should see Shimmer and Zoe. Mom has been trying to be the first one out of the door so they will know she is the pack leader. That's not working out so good. They both try to beat each other out the door and wind their leashes around mom's legs. It is not pretty! Last week she fell down three times out of the five days we walked. If they would just watch to see the way I do it, we would all be fine. Those two get excited about everything they see and are constantly getting their leashes tangled up. We had to change our route last week because there is a boxer on the corner that barks at us and Shimmer almost chckes himself trying to go bark at that boxer. If that dummie would just stop and think about it - the boxer is probably four times as big as he is! I told ya I was the smart one.
