Arrival Story:
We bought Julie from a breeder who sold her because she would not feed her first litter of three puppies....she preferred to be mothered rather than to be a mother! She is my wife's dog, and only tolerates me because my wife does.

Bio:
She is an Imperial Shi Tzu and onlyweighed 4.5 lbs when we brought her home.... 10 month later, she now weighs a whopping 5.5 lbs. We're thinking of putting her on a diet! UPDATE: This is a sad day...Dec 30, 2009. At 6:30 am Julie suffered what we believed to be heart failure. Yesterday was a normal day for al of us, and then without warning she is gone. Her 5lbs physical size does not begin to indicate the remendous ache in our heart. She loved so much, and we believe she died knowi ng that. Treat your animals like you do your human kin.....as if each day you have them may be their last. God bless all animal lovers!
