Arrival Story:
We started seeing him running loose in our neighborhood at the beginning of summer 1997 but he wqs afraid and would run. We started leaving dog bisquits on the sidewalk where we walked and he would eat it after we were gone. By the end of summer he had become much weaker and we finally caught him and took him to our Vet who said he was near death from flea infestation and malnourished. We dedided to keep him until he was fully recovered and then find him a permanent home. By the time he was again healthy, he had found a new home........ours, where he will live in comfort for the remainder of his days.

Bio:
He is old now, has cataracts and is becoming lame in his front legs. His morning walks that he loves so much are growing more painful. We are already grieving at the thought that he may not be with us much longer.

METOO 1990 - 2008

Sadly I must report that METOO has lost his struggle to live. Having lost his sight, hearing, control of bodily functions and his dignity, our vet yesterday ended his suffering by administering the blessing of eternal sleep. He left a hole in my heart as big as the Grand Canyon and I miss him terribly.
