Arrival Story:
He ran to meet my husband one day, and a car drove by explaining that he'd been living off of cat food from their porch for about 3 weeks. His owners had moved away and left him all alone!! We found that he wasn't gray and black, but brown and white, after giving him 3 baths! Unfortunately, he was slightly malnourished and had every parasite known to dog, poor baby. Now, he's happy and healthy (getting fat, actually) and loves to give us thank you kisses right on the mouth when he can catch us off guard!

Well, it's official- Princess Lizzie on her throne was crowned Dog of the Day today. Will she ever come down from that high horse? Doubtful!!
Oh well, I still get 75% of the bed. Speaking of which, I'm on my way there now.....

There are children everywhere!! And they look funny! Mom and Dad made me stay in tonight because I kept barking at them, but they wouldn't stop walking by my front yard! Then, when I came in, Mom put this fluffy thing on me and a bunch of collars that were really long and Dad's hat. Then they made me sit still while they used that bright flashy thing over and over again. I got treats though, so it really wasn't that bad. Lizzie just sat on the couch and watched. They didn't even bother to put stuff on her, but she still got treats! I don't get it, she does nothing and she gets treats. It's not fair!

I had a jump start this morning! I woke up to sirens outside- Loudest alarm clock ever!! I bolted through the door with Lizzie on my tail and we ran to the gate to check it out! The big trucks went by and then everything went back to normal. Oh well, time to get back in bed with Mommy.
We finally woke up around 9:30 and my fun filled day began! Outside in the sun, playing with Wilma's debris in the yard! Palm frawns, limbs, ooh and a trash bag on the back porch that they didn't put in the can- that Wendy's bag still had some good stuff in it!!
Since we just got cable and internet this morning, Mom spent most of the day in the office on the computer, so I entertained myself outside.
Mom was on her forum and one of her friends posted about Dogster., so she signed us up! We are so excited, and Lizzie and Maya got to join too! I got a Rosette award from Scout because he licks people on the mouth like me! I can't wait to make so many new friends, it's going to be great!
