Arrival Story:
Dixie was from a puppy farm and ended up at a local pet store. Her and her brother were very, very sick and underweight. The pet store owners refused to admit how sick she was and insisted that she be bought at full price. My heart went out for her, but my wallet just couldn't take the $400 price tag. Luckily I had a generous friend at the time and he helped pay to rescue her from the aweful pet store. She spent some time at the vet but recovered well and is a big, healthy basset hound!

Bio:
Dixie was born in KY, but has grown up in Central Florida. She loves to sunbathe and lay on the cool tile floor to relax.
